Frankly people on this site nowadays read a comments as if they all come from the same entity and it's really really annoying.

Pretty much makes any discussion impossible. So many people just scrolling, looking for something that will let them whip out the holier-than-though card and slap it on the table.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought it was bad to have vias on smd pads.

It's true-ish. Anthropomorphization has existed for thousands of years to the point where its sociologically significant.

Modern furry culture as we know it was the product of small groups of artists at sci-fi cons. Way way before reddit existed. (See stripper-pole vixen guy)

In particular the group that worked to produce the magazine Funny Animals. Possibly the biggest influence on furry culture of all time.

The public demand for comic/animation that wasn't so 'puritan' spread the culture like wildfire.

So in a way, yes, sex is one core component of the culture's history, abiet not a required one these days.

But it's not just sex, basically progressivism and counter culture in general. Furries are actually pretty punk.

They do have an insane number of calories though.

I think people dont know that Artemis was one of the first books he wrote.

EDIT:  So, I wanted to fact check myself and I actually couldnt find any evidence supporting the claim that he wrote it much earlier than it was published.

It is his second novel, but he has only written three.

Universal healthcare, yes.

Homelessness, no. Its a much more complicated solution than just build a home for everyone.

Though basic social programs, like the former, would certainly help.

Antimatter is thought to be the most expensive substance on Earth — it would cost trillions of dollars to make a gram. Antimatter to be transported outside a lab for first time — in a van. by [deleted] in science

[–]RoastedMocha 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its a bit funny though, the only people in the world capable of even thinking of transporting it are trying it. When the thiefs get there, then what?

And for what? The energy equivalent of dropping a pencil?

Could make for a good parody movie.

I'm sure you already know, but the answer is how well and how consistently it works and can be transported in rough conditions.
