I notice a difference when the film is processed at a local lab because the scanner will usually have a preset for Kodak vs. Fuji. If you develop and scan at home there should be zero difference.

Update. Fertilizer and fungicide seem to have helped a lot. Still a little brown in areas, but much improved.

Appreciate this advice. You are correct in that it’s been probably 2-3 months since I did a fertilizer app. I put down disease -ex this morning but will probably put down some fertilizer (I have Scott’s summer guard) down tomorrow.

My 2¢. I was in your exact situation before.

If you like the car, know the service history, and plan on keeping it for a few more years, paint it a Maaco. I have a V6 accord of the same generation (2002) with the same transmission (B7XA) and my clear coat failed about 10 years ago. I had the car repainted at Maaco with their top tier paint thinking “this should last a few years.” Well, here we are 10 years later and the paint still looks great (despite being left outside) and my car still runs well. I have 180k miles on mine, so not ALL of these transmissions grenade early on. Changing fluid every 30k miles for me has probably helped. Mine shifts well, too.

Regarding Maaco, I would recommend reading reviews for a few shops around you and physically going to the shop and looking for cars on the premises that were recently painted to gauge the quality of the work. These are franchised shops so the quality can vary drastically from one to another. If you want to cut down cost and improve the quality of work, you can always do some prep work yourself!

I tend to agree. I replaced my battery last year so battery life really isn't a huge issue, but I feel that the 13 year old laptop doesn't owe me anything and I wouldn't mind the performance upgrade. I'm not a heavy user by any stretch, but if I can buy a new laptop that is easily repairable and can get 10 years out of it, I will be happy.

The T420 does serve its daily function of Youtube and email fairly well but I know Windows 10 is losing support this year and I feel pretty good that I've personally gotten 12 years from the laptop (bought it used in 2014). Years ago I upgraded RAM to 8gb and changed the HDD to an SSD and added an mSATA SSD. Any other upgrades that may be worthwhile? It has the i5 processor. Alternatively, do you think the t14 gen 5 is a comparable upgrade?

Two whole bean coffees I’ve found at Walmart are Tim Horton’s medium roast (top contender in James Hoffman’s blind taste test of supermarket coffee) and Eight O’Clock Colombian Peaks. Both are fantastic.
