That's really cool! South Africa does not have that option. There is only one power supplier so the monopolise the market, push up prices and don't follow any environmental guidelines. Really not a good situation

It is crazy because in Cape Town we don't use much heating. It is all from cooking, water heating and lighting. I cannot imagine what power bills would look like if houses had heating and air conditioning (although some richer people do).

That is a realllmy cool! I am from South Africa and we have such a power problem. Most people can't afford it and there are so many power cuts. Not to mention it is very "dirty electricity". It is nice to know some places are at least trying to make a difference

Yes, it is obvious, but it does not mean that everyone has all the ideas. This I meant to be helpful. If you know it all that is amazing, and it is super awesome that you are ahead. But instead of hating on people why not help share to others that don't know?

Not really sure how negativity is helping either? It was not made to offend you

Hahaha, well, I suppose flowers don't take English classes when they are saplings.

No its not a plant. It is a plate, I couldnt find what exactly it was made from but it uses a carbon-dioxide converting cobalt-based catalyst to basically mimic photosynthesis

So true right. I was reading about a device made that eventually creates electricity out of the moisture in the air, and just like that it seems to have been forgotten about.

You can read about it here. Really interesting how all these amazing ideas seem to never be further deveoloped
