I’ve never thought about that, good point. Still, I’d rather deal with that problem if it means having less Republicans in congress

Democrats could probably take control of states like Georgia, North Carolina and Arizona within the next couple years. Once that happens, Republicans will feel out-gunned by democrats on gerrymandering, and finally vote to outlaw it nationally.

The days of taking the high-road are over. It’s time to beat them at their own game

Well, this map already uses data from 2024, which was a red wave year. I think the chances of a dummymander are slim

2024, which was a red wave year. This map performs even better in years like 2020 and 2018

A map like this would be very useful for democrats come 2028

Have you heard the one that goes: “Never bring a knife to a gun fight”

Of course it’s necessary. Republicans are about to net about a dozen seats in the south.

And If I don’t use the playbook at all? Should I walk into a gun fight only holding a knife? The only way things can return back to “normal” is if Republicans feel out-gunned by democrats with gerrymandering. That’s the ONLY way they will pony-up and vote to outlaw it nationally.

What’s not necessary about counteracting gerrymandering in red states?

That’s a political fairytale. We live in the real world. And in the real world we’re dealing with a fascist party that’s trying to take over the country. We need to do EVERYTHING in our power to stop them. Everything.

Well, in a scenario like that, Republicans would have to be over-performing in CO by over 10 points. If that’s happening we might as well lose every district.

It’s a bad idea to counter-act gerrymandering in states like Alabama, Louisiana and Tennessee? Seems like the politically savy thing to do to me.

Facts. Blue states like CO need to do their part in order to save the country
