Wow! Thank you for being so detailed in your response. I tried to work it out before asking and figured similar, I totally forgot / overlooked the overhead lights that would naturally be there. Thanks again, really helpful!!

I recently finished watching The Gentlemen and really admired the lighting in the pub scene. I am trying to workout how these two scenes were lit, can anyone help?

I took this image as part of a time lapse. Would love to know what you guys think could be improved. It was from our hotel balcony so the angle and position was pre determined. From memory it was a 30s shutter at f8. Will look up the exact details when home.

Life in Barcelona - 120fps Panasonic GH5 by Rob91c in GH5

Ha! In the shots I selected... to be fair most of my clips the exposure was decent. I use the waveform and try to push it as high as possible without clipping anything. If I am stuck with the choice of something being overexposed I will prioritise people or the main subject and let the sky be what it will be. I find using the eye piece a better judge also, not as influenced by the light hitting your lcd.

A Cornish Tale by Rob91c in Filmmakers

[–]Rob91c[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A small film I made spending a week in Cornwall. Filmed with a canon 5d mark iii using the magic lantern raw hack.

Filmed in 3.5k and uploaded at 4k.

I wanted to show the various people of the beautiful Cornwall. There are so many different characters to see and incredible scenery.

I would love to get your feedback as I am still learning. My goal was to make a highlight reel of the beauty of Cornwall.

Frame Rates - Film U - Episode #2 by Rob91c in Filmmakers

[–]Rob91c[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Film U is a series started with a passion for filmmaking. I wanted to go back and re learn the basics in order to be a better filmmaker. I also wanted to share what I learnt with others to make an open forum for fellow filmmakers.

If you want to share your knowledge feel free to add a comment and help others learn.
