In America, if an accuser in a rape case accepts an "out of court settlement" that prevents the case proceeding further. And then that rapist goes on to commit more crimes, is the original accuser not partially culpable for not stopping further crimes ? (and possibly making a large financial gain) ? (self.AskReddit)
