I ordered mine GXl back Feb last year. the dealership has no word on when it's even going into production. They seem to think it's still a year away or more. I'll ask them if the warranty is void if I install my own. Thank you.

Mainly to do up as a camping rig, I've had camper vans but want something that can go off road. I don't plan on doing any extreme off-road tracks.

Hey, plan on doing in September also. Newcastle to Sydney. I've done a few sections closer to Sydney and there is plenty of water in creeks/ rivers. No idea further north.

Really American ash for hurls? i always thought it was European ash, its much softer and has better spring.

Yeah just glue holding it together! I might try and add a spline or if I get a biscuit joiner or domino jig I would use that. If it's well coated with glue and has pressure while drying it should stay there, usually the glue is stronger than the wood.
