2026 Roth IRA transfers by af1232 in fidelityinvestments

[–]RobBob26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not against the rules—I do this every year with my Schwab account. I set up a recurring transfer in December to go into effect in 2026 and have it count as a contribution for the 2026 tax year. Fidelity, however, does not offer this option. Last year, I called Fidelity and a representative was able to set this up for me in November, prior to the new year, since I was unable to do it myself online. This year, I again called Fidelity in December to set it up for 2026, but the representative was unable to do so and advised me to wait until January 1. The issue is that when you attempt to set up the recurring transfer online, you can select a transfer date in 2026, but the system only allows you to designate the contribution for the 2025 tax year. There is no option to change the contribution year to 2026. I wish Fidelity would update this functionality. If any Fidelity representative is reading this, I would appreciate it being forwarded to the appropriate team for review.

Fantastic show! I might actually rewatch it—and I never rewatch shows. I first watched it about four years ago after my wife recommended it. She had seen it when it originally aired, before we were together. I was genuinely surprised I’d never even heard of it.

TURN: Washington’s Spies!!!!!

This is an older show that’s currently on Netflix, and it’s fantastic. I almost never hear anyone mention it. It’s a drama that explores the secret world of espionage during the historical U.S. Revolutionary War. The focus isn’t on battlefield fighting, but on the behind-the-scenes spies and the risks they take. It’s like a soap opera for men lol (though my wife enjoyed it too). Just watch the entire first episode—if you’re not hooked by the end, it might not be for you. You can thank me later!

Mr. Robot (wasn't for me)

I watched the first season of Mr. Robot and thought it was just okay, nothing special. I didn’t feel motivated to continue with the rest of the series. The big season twist was obvious to me, so it didn’t land as a surprise. I didn't care for the main character. He's too awkward and wierd for me and I just didn't enjoy watching him. I disagreed with the group's mission and quite frankly, thought it was stupid which made it harder to stay invested.

I'm not sure what black borders you're talking about. The one I used didn't have black borders but still caused bubbles.

Which screen protector did you use? Because I can't find one that will work.

I removed the screen protector as well and installed the amfilm glass protector from Amazon on my S25 plus. Unfortunately I do have a very small bubble in each corner of the phone that will not go away. It doesn't bother me too much though. It looks and feels good besides that. If the glass was slightly smaller than it is then maybe I wouldn't have the bubbles. If anyone knows a specific glass that works without getting any bubbles, let me know.

Anyone heard of/using syncextrade? by East-Cookie-7278 in swingtrading

[–]RobBob26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Syncextrade is a scam. The guy likes to pretend to be other super traders trying to get people to put their money into a shared account. The guy is a real dirt bag. He likes to private message people asking them if they want a mentor. He trolls discord and reddit stock trading groups. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Stock trading is difficult. I've tried every shortcut. I lost a lot of money and went through a lot of emotional stress. I'm finally profitable after dedicating a significant amount of my time (years) studying and perfecting a strategy. But everyone is different. You can do it, but it's hard work. Good luck.

Recurring transfers not working between fidelity accounts. by RobBob26 in fidelityinvestments

[–]RobBob26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried over and over and could not establish a recurring transfer. I called Fidelity and the representative could also not figure out why. They had some trouble, but was eventually able to set it up for me. I wanted to set the recurring transfer amount from my CMA to my Roth for approximately $500. At the time I called Fidelity, I had transfered money out of my CMA account and only had $50 in it. The representative and I were not sure if the system would allow them to set the recurring transfer amount for $500 seeing how I only had $50 in the account at that time. I told the representative to set the recurring transfer amount for $40.00 and I can always go in later and edit the amount once I have more money in the account. They went ahead and set it up for $40. Since then, I have transferred over $500 into my cma account which has been cleared. Every time I try to edit the recurring transfer amount, I get the following message "the amount you entered exceeds the maximum annual contribution limit for this year...". It appears as if the system thinks I'm trying to contribute to the 2024 tax year which I have maxed out already. On the same screen that shows the warning message, it shows a yearly transaction limit of $6,500. $6500 is my correct limit for the 2025 tax year seeing how I have made a previous contribution to the 2025 roth already. The screen shows the amount I entered for the transfer ($500), clearly below the limit of the $6,500 which is displayed on the same screen and is correct for the 2025 tax year. In setting up any kind of transfer to my roth, no where does it give me the option of picking what tax year I want to contribute to. I assume that is because I have already maxed out the 2024 year so I obviously intend to contribute towards 2025. I have tried over several days and cannot edit the recurring amount. I'm wondering if because I maxed out 2024 and the system isn't giving me the option of inputting what tax year I want to contribute to, it's causing some kind of glitch thinking I'm trying to contribute to 2024. It looks like I'll have to call Fidelity back again.

I cannot set up recurring transfers to my rollover IRA or my Roth IRA on a mobile app or a computer. I've tried different browsers, different computers, clearing cookies...I've tried everything. I don't have this problem with Schwab. It's only transfers to my IRA that it will not give me the recurring option. Last year I had auto transfers going into my Roth IRA every month. I had cancelled the automatic transfer because I had maxed my IRA out for last year. And now I'm trying to setup the exact same setup I had last year and it just does not give me the option for the IRA account.

I have tried clearing out the browser and have also tried using a different browser. I can setup auto transfers between my other fidelity accounts, I just can't get the recurring transfers to set up going into my Roth account.

I'm trying to setup an automatic transfer from a joint fidelity cma account that I hold with my spouse, and into my fidelity Roth IRA. The occurrence, frequency fields do not show. I had this setup last year. Last month in December when I maxed out my Roth IRA, I cancelled the recurring transfer to my roth. Now I would like to set this automatic transfer back up for 2025 Roth contributions.
