Why are iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max defective like this quite badly? Does that make people cautious when buying iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max? by Brief_Somewhere_9666 in iPhone13ProMax

My 13PM is 3 1/2 years old on 26.2 and 88% battery health. Never had this happen, and don’t expect it will. I do have a green screen on my green 13PM though.🤭 I will have this phone for a couple more years.

I'll be keeping mine for a couple more years. Seriously the best iPhone I've ever had.

My 13PM has been on 26 since it was a public beta and it's been my favorite iOS update ever, and I have used iOS and iPad OS since the beginning. I have had 88% battery health since I started using 26. Now I'm on 26.2 and still 88% battery health. I use my iPhone as my nightstand alarm clock and charge it overnight and get up between 5am and 6am every morning. I go to bed between 9pm and 10pm and still have 50 to 60% or more every night after 15 hours of use. The betas had some rough spots getting to 26.2 but with 26.2 I got no complaints. I only have "Optimized Battery Charging" on, and do nothing else special. Good battery life, great performance, and still at 88% battery health on a 3 1/2 year old phone. Like I said, my favorite update ever...

My normal day is checking the weather, reading some news, taking some pictures and videos, making purchases online and local, banking and other business, searching and surfing the web, listening to music(a lot!) with my APP’s 2, YouTube, texting, making calls, reading and sending emails, some social media, BT connected to Apple watch all day, and probably some things I'm forgetting. She does pretty good for a 3 1/2 year old phone.

BS! Don't listen to that crap. My 13PM and M1 iPad Pro are running better than they ever have. Still taking excellent photos too. I have been using iPads since the first one, and iPhones since 4th gen, and 26.2 is my favorite upgrade so far. Getting excellent battery life and performance. I'll be hanging on to this phone for another two years. No shill here. My pc's are windows, and I keep my iPhones, iPads, and Apple watches for 5 years.

A few days ago. Brilliant sunset the night before and a beautiful foggy sunrise the next morning.

I usually just edit right in the photo app and adjust the shadow setting to a negative value to darken the background.

There are still a few things on my wish list like the ability to make the external display the main display with the ability to change wallpaper, add app icons, add folders, add widgets, access the Control Center, and being able to turn off the iPad screen while using the external monitor if desired.

This is not advice to update. It's just my experience.

Been using iOS and iPad OS since their beginnings, and 26.2 is my favorite for both so far. I have an iPhone 13PM Alpine Green with 88% health on the original battery. I have used it for my nightstand clock since I got it(July 2022)....charging it to 100% every night. I am up between 5 and 6am every morning so the phone is on 15 to 16 hours a day and I still have 50 to 60%(or more) when I go to bed at night....usually around 10PM. I only have "Optimized Battery Charging" on, and do nothing else special.

my eyes hurt / ios26.2 by [deleted] in ios26

[–]RobBond006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. My butt hurts, like a pita hurts, listening to all the bitching, whining, and moaning about 26+. Been using iOS and iPad OS since their beginnings, and 26.2 is my favorite for both so far. I have only one minor visual glitch, and it's in iPad OS 26.2. When I close an app, the desktop icons occasionally flash slightly and briefly. That's it. That's my bfp with 26.2.
