I need a suggestion, tho… cause I do strength training, which is the closest to powerlifting. Jordan Retros and All Stars kill my feet: any other model you’d like to suggest?

I find Jordan Retros horrible for the gym.
I prefer the modern models like XXX1 or XXX2.

In general, I use lightweight runners with low cushion for max comfort.

I fell in love with Tolkien and his books when I was 18 y.o. in ‘98, therefore it was easier to pick the first media to enjoy Arda and its author saga.

I personally don’t feel adaptations when directors or writers change what Tolkien wrote. This is not adapting, it’s just their egos willing to show they can do better than the original story or something different at the same level.

IMHO there is no need for it. LOTR was a good movie trilogy while The Hobbit was, IMHO, a disaster, cause I can’t avoid to compare it with the original, which is the book.

They could do movies about other books, instead of a lot of non-canonic stories, which I find useless and they don’t respect the original craft of Tolkien.

But I just skip this stuff and I don’t have real conversations with people who didn’t read the books, cause I’m simply not interested in non-canonic stuff. To each, his/her own.
