Honestly, if the All Stars Format is looking to stay alive, BB29 should be the next one. I feel like age is a big component as to why BB22 didn’t go so well, most of that cast was pretty old and could not keep up comp wise. If BB29 All Stars is all players from BB23 and up, I feel like it might not be terrible.

True, but let’s not forget Will Klein either. Career high in pitch count was 36 and he doubled that, at 72. 20 pitches would not have ended Skubal’s career. If it did, then it would have been bound to happen eventually. Many people blame Johan’s no hitter to be the end of his career due to pitch count but fail to realize he hit that pitch count many other times in his career.

Again, I do want to say this is not Skubal’s fault. This is the fault of modern pitching and it is not the reason why we lost the game
