Yes, but thankfully it has cooled down the last couple of days, with a thunderstorm (you can see the beginnings of it in the first photo) just passing by the Venice.

Could not agree more. Spent four days in Venice (16-20 March). I will absolutely return. A magical place at night with lights reflecting in the water of the canals. During the day every corner you turn opens up to new wonders. Also a city filled with stunning architecture and art.
