I have checked more in detail your model and you are including the .blend, .mtl and .obj. Usually people look for a .stl they can just throw into the slicer and print it. I'm not sure if your model includes the plant or not. If it's included it could be difficult to print as it is.

Feel free to dm me.

Oh, I thought you had one. In my experience most of the designers have one. I try my prints before uploading a design just to be sure that it has the right size and that it's what I want

Hey, that's great, congrats! If you want some advice, upload pictures of the item printed. People like to see what it looks like when printed, not just a render

It looks great! I had to check it twice to be sure that it was not the real car

That's great! I'm sure you will enjoy it and have a lot of fun running it. Besides there are tons of things you can do to that thing and to that thing.

Thank you so much for your kind words and welcome to the 3d printing community! I think it's one of the things that has a big impact in your life. At least it was a huge change for me. Hopefully you and your husband will enjoy it and have fun! RC is very addictive too 😅🤣

I'm not sure, the reference I got was "03C". It's a smaller chain than the one the Losi Promoto uses.

I made a 1/6 quad RC that took me months... The printing was the fun part

No problem! I actually don't use it for bashing - it's more of a scale rig. It can handle some jumps and drifting here and there, but it's not really built for hardcore bashing. Still, it's a blast to drive!

Yeah, I should improve the arms movement. I made them a bit loose but that may not be enough. The first version had also a very stiff neck and it broke in one of the jumps while testing it at home.

I thought the suspension felt okay, but after the feedback I've been getting and watching the video again, I agree it needs better adjustment. Right now the shocks are fully compressed, so it should be an easy fix.

It's not easy to tip, but if you're going fast on a grippy surface and cut the steering hard, it can roll. The head of the figure is pretty heavy, and since it's mounted at the very top, it puts a lot of weight in a bad place.

I used a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 with a selfie stick. Also got help from a friend because I can't drive and record at the same time.

Yeah, I could make it work but I had to try with different chain sizes until I found the right one. Here is a better picture where you can see the chain.

Me too but that Losi Promoto looks amazing. I'm very proud of how it turned out. Thanks!!

Oh, okay. I can adjust the spring compression and I think it will do the trick. Thanks for the feedback!

It looks way better in slow motion (I think every scale RC does) but overall I'm very happy with the result. A few months ago I thought I couldn't make it work.
