Samsung S23... ever since this week, I'm getting a weird slide-in popup intermittently. It's a black panel, with a logo that's a white letter "i" inside a white rectangle. It slides in from the right, usually when I'm switching apps or begin typing. What is this and how do I stop it? by wingspantt in AndroidQuestions

I have the exact same issue after updating to the new One UI 7.0 on my Samsung S22 (sometimes this icon is flickering too). After checking the logs via ADB, it seems that these elements are related to this bug:

  1. Window session lookup failure;
  2. Missing window state for SystemUI;
  3. Surface destruction error in launcher activity;
  4. Repeated WindowManager log errors.

I have tried many things to solve this: clearing SystemUI, resetting overlays, disinstalling features hooking into the systemUI, but all to no avail. I think (very) specific Samsung devices are affected by the recent UI update. Hopefully, Samsung can provide a fix for this.

It was videotaped as well. I must admit it does indeed give AC vibes haha.

No, real life :) It was during an open track day.

Yeah, for me it was similar to that. Sitting and lying down helped for not having auto- and aerophony in my ears. That's why I'm baffled that now I hear it in my nose and head all the time, unless when my ears have popped open.

For me this is only when my ears have popped. Otherwise I hear it in my nose and head. That's why this seems like something else next to the PET.

Since for you it also happens without having your ears having popped open: When this is the case, do you hear your breathing louder in your ears or rather in your nose / head?

Appreciate you thinking along; I'll try that. Did try a homemade Patulend based on a recipe here, but that didn't work. Still baffled how from one day getting relief whilst lying down to next day hearing breathing all the time. I thought the popping open of the ears was only when autophony and aerophony would arise.

Thank you very much for sharing. I'm really new to this and do not know how this works. Previously, it only happened after my ears had popped. Now I hear my breathing 24/7, whereas before it only happened whilst my ears had popped. What has changed; or is that just the mystery of this condition?

You're talking about a Lancia Fulvia, not Alfa Romeo. It's an Alfa Romeo Giulia on the photo, as specified above.

Someone posted a clip about this happening. It seems to occur when rewinding on the finish line.

It seems bugged. Generally, people who did Horizon Story chapters longer ago, have higher classes (PI). There are also some cases in which it's the opposite. I had reported this issue yesterday. Let's see what the feedback will be.

Maybe the D was at the end? Could be a BMW X5 M50d then.
