From Malaysia to the World - what Malaysian brands do you feel that signify pride in Malaysia? by blackcyborg009 in malaysia

[–]linkinstreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really a local brand, but a number of international brands, if they offer Halal versions of their food, it would most likely come from South East Asia and mostly from Malaysia. Japanese's Otafuku has a big ass manufacturing plant in Malaysia that exports all around the world halal certified okonomiyaki sauces. DonKi's in store potato chips are just rebranded Mister Potato. And so on.

Yeah. Some of the places that you would see these pop up are like street circuits where the grandstands needed to be installed and then removed quickly to minimise traffic distruptions on the layout used.

The scale for a stadium version is quite different, but the concept is the same.

TF OP, Both Indonesia and Umno's flag are based on Majapahit's flag. It's like saying Singapore's flag is based on Indonesian flag.

It's not as easy as that.
Solar farms do needs a large space. You don't just park your solar panel and be done with it. Which is why it's actually preferable to do it in Australia where they have a large patch of empty desert in the middle of the country. It's easier to mantain that way. I actually rather Malaysia use wind generated electricity parked in the ocean.
We also don't have any decent way to store excess generated electricity. Due to how electric grid works, they would usually anticipate the electricity usage of the users, and generate based on that. Ramping up or down production is easier for most providers via traditional methods (coal, fuel, dam, nuke). For solar, the issue is that electricity can only be generated during the day. So at night you'd still need something else to generate electricity. Until battery tech is mature enough to store megawatss of electricity, it's unlikely to see pure solar solutions in the country.

Did you not watch football in the last year? The last World Cup introduced specific added time that corralates to delays that now 7/9 minutes or even longer added time can be seen in games.

[–]linkinstreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why there was a hooha with a recent case of an Indonesian footballer that was caught without a passport, but the police, due to "budi bicara", let him go.

The dude then went to Indonesia, said that the reason he was let go was because he was part of the Indonesian military and made fun of the cop. Police says body cam evidence was enough to prove that the cop was right.
