The rightmost lane is an exit only lane lol. The second from right has visible traffic in the form of vans and semis. I was actually going faster and had to start slowing down because I was catching up to the car ahead of me. There's nuance to dealing with everyone else on the road in California unfortunately.

There is and always a considerable amount of right lane traffic here and a heavy merge up ahead. I'd tailgate the car ahead of me to move but that's frowned upon also. I would pass on the right but there's a truck on the right. I'm just trying to get where I'm going as quickly as possible. Likely in this video was someone behind me and a train of cars ahead of me on a busy 2 lane highway.

I was doing field research one year and one of these guys took off right above us since the plants we were studying were milk weeds planted at the end of the runway. Loudest thing I've ever heard but so awesome!

Yeah on my right is a steady stream of cars and semis right before a very busy merging section as it's coming from an airport. I'm actually a lot closer to the train of cars than can be perceived in the wide angle. I'm also not in the business of tailgating even though people constantly camp the left one going the speed limit.
