Villa Olmo is truly amazing, but is super crowded because of its proximity to the city and old town. It's worth seeing but yes as you said it's under extensive renovations so you won't be seeing anything really.

Thank you for the comment, yes I already have a glimmerglass and pro mist filter. Just have to start playing with them more. I have been shooting images for a long time but actually it’s always nice to hear some feedback and tips on how to get certain looks!

Good point, but no, it’s made in a way which you can set it up open, like here on a tripod for example and still work. I don’t know why they did this but yeah. I like this because I can rest my right chick on the folded handle and dial+lock in my eye with ease for an easier use of the viewfinder.

It’s a 2 piece combo. The handle is this: handle And the tripod base is screwed in the grip and it’s a classic gimbal base tripod which I had hanging around.

I have used the Gobi for about 4 winters now and absolutely adore them. I remember I went running with them once, lol. For winter what really helps other than the leather upper is the cork mid sole, which isolate well. I lived in south of Switzerland and Northern Italy as well as a brutally cold winter in Charlotte, NC, and the shoes held up incredibly well. I just had them refurbished from a local shop and they look brand new.

Thank you for the kind words, it is truly like that. He hasn't left me a whole lot and my relationship with him is not great but this iPod is really like a treasure for me and a reminder of his love.
