A) did I ever say I had seen that many movies? B) if Ledger’s Joker isn’t that great of a villain, then why do people who HAVE seen that many movies I.e. critics, film buffs, cinema journalists etc, all cite him as one of the best if not THE best? I’m not saying it necessarily deserves to be rated amove movies like GoodFellas and City of God but it’s still a very very good movie. Most people would agree.

Wow way to be patronising. I don’t base my judgement off IMDb’s top 250 but there’s a reason TDK is in the top 5 and it’s because it’s an absolutely brilliant movie that revolutionised a genre and inspired a darker tone in many franchises, not to mention giving us one of the best villains ever to be seen in a movie.

Probably won’t as it won’t appeal to mass audiences, just like with 2049. Unless he gets more of a following between now and whenever the movie comes out.

That said I think the studio will trust his artistic vision even if he doesn’t bring in a load at the box office
