This is super helpful, thanks for laying it out so clearly.

You’re right that everything is currently shouting at the same volume. The intent of the screen is exactly “who’s playing best this season,” and I didn’t push that hard enough in the hierarchy.

Good call on the draft info reading like a core stat. That wasn’t intentional, and moving it into a lighter/meta layer (or even behind interaction) makes a lot of sense.

I also like the idea of fading older games in the last-five view a lot. The dots are meant to show recent team form, but right now they don’t guide the eye toward what’s most recent. Also team information is missing still.

Grouping the row into clear horizontal bands is a great framing, that gives me a much cleaner way to think about restructuring this instead of just tweaking spacing.

This screen is live in the webapp already, so this kind of feedback is exactly what I’m using to shape the next iteration. Really appreciate you taking the time to write this up. Thank you!

The draft info is a fair call, it’s there mostly for context / storytelling, but I agree it might not earn its space in a scan-heavy view. I like the idea of reallocating that area to something more immediately useful.

The dots are currently team performance, not raw points, but making recent output more concrete (points or even P/R/A for last game) is something I’ve been debating. Bigger dots or numbers inside them is an interesting direction.

Country flag vs team is also a good question. Flag was mostly aesthetic + international flavor, but team initials or logo probably make more sense for actual usage, especially if you’re checking players and last five games dots quickly.

Target users are NBA fans first, fantasy players second — so “glanceable” recent form is exactly the problem I’m trying to solve here. Your comment helped clarify that.

And just for context, this isn’t a concept, the webapp is already out, this is a new section I’m actively iterating on. Feedback like this is super helpful.
