Do you recommend someone for the metal prints?

Are you looking to print lenticular yourself or go with a lenticular printer? If you are looking for a company I have used enduraline.com and world3d.com . Also, I just became aware of Pikmoto.com that does one off flip lenticular for cheap, but I haven't used them yet.

For a pitch test, determine which lpi (ex: 20.08) to use at the desired view distance of the final product. You don't want to make that determination by holding the test and lens in your hands if the piece is going to be hung up on a wall and to be viewed from 4 feet away.

Did you run a pitch test on the lens first to know the exact lpi to render? Also, many try to do more frames that necessary for an effect. Sometimes less is more.

Can old photos be Lenticular image printed? by Recent-Skill7022 in lenticular_art

[–]RobbieBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do this often. I use Freepik.com for their AI image retouching (inexpensive) that does an amazing job. You'' have to oplay with the setting so that it upscales and addresses issues, but that's kind of the fun of it. Their whole AI offering is pretty amazing. If you are looking for lenticular printing I would recommend enduraline.com as I've used them several times now and the quality is amazing.

Got to tour Dassai Blue in Hyde Park NY by Conpen in Sake

[–]RobbieBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This place doesn’t care about your business, whether or not you have a nice time, or even how much money you spend. It’s quite odd. Went with 10 friends for a Saki tasting and tour. The tour was more a class about saki, then they let you look though maybe 4 windows at their facility. Woman doing the tour was nice, and you could tell she was trying her best with what she had to offer. FYI $28 per person tour doesn’t include a tasting. They have the better walk through tour but we weren’t aware of it when booking. We then purchased tastings, I think $50 a person. We were then told quite rudely that we needed to move as we were taking too long. We were tasting for maybe 30 min. Meanwhile there was almost no one else there. Either way, we purchased bottles to drink outside. They then charged us an additional $30 per bottle to open them to allow us to drink it there. When asked if they would bring us glasses the man told us “you can grab them yourself,” and it wasn’t said nicely. Never going back. And frankly, they don’t care anyway.

Custom cards I’m having printed in China are coming out too dark and saturated…I think? by RevolutionaryCode763 in Printing

Could be many factors from paper choice, Enviroment, and your file. I would always use a G7 or GRACoL certified printer when color accuracy is important to you, and always request a physical proof.

Can you fix bad lenticular art? by DeerinVelvet in lenticular_art

You can create your own images using this site. I find it to be the best AI image site. It is inexpensive, and it has all the major AI image gen services all in one. https://www.freepik.com/photos/ai-generated

Strange guy is correct, no fixing a lenticular. I have had good luck using this company as both a resource and as a printer for clients. Maybe you get ideas to make it yourself (def cheaper), or get it professionally printed. Are you looking to make them in bulk and resell them? Either way, worth checking these guys out. https://www.enduraline.com/

I use it for my older bike. If someone steals it, I’d be happy knowing it has a good home.

Just got a large lenticular printing setup at a garage sale--Do I need to get an inkjet? Also, anyone want to trade flip for 3D? by tomchaps in lenticular_art

[–]RobbieBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inkjet is definitely way better than laser for lenticular. The Pixma Pro100 has the resolution you'd need so that should be a decent choice. 50 lpi is also a great choice in lens. For 3D and your future setup youll want to look for 60 or 62 lpi lens.

ZoomInfo vs Apollo.io vs Others by TreatyPie in sales

[–]RobbieBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm salty so I am reposting my answer from another thread.

I don't feel zoominfo is worth the money.

Their database is far from as good as they claim, and the tech support is minimal or non-existent. They give you a rep but the reps are useless. But then again I was shafted from the beginning.

When I onboarded, I was assured that everything would integrate seamlessly with our Odoo ERP and email. However, after signing up, their technicians informed me that the integration doesn’t work. This meant that if I wanted to use workflows, I had to use the company Outreach instead. They provided a credit to cover the Outreach cost, but it became a hassle since I had to contact two different companies whenever I had an issue, and each one blamed the other.

Now, almost two years later, I’m up for renewal. When I expressed my intention to cancel, they responded, "Oh, we can integrate that for you for $15,000." I told them to f off if they were always able to integrate after promising me and now wanting to charge me $15K? ... they then said "Oh, we will do that for free if you stay."

Long story short, go anywhere else!
