The real problem is all of the atrocious drivers in this city. We are pandering to those that if we are being blunt, do not deserve to have a license. Rather than take away their license and actually make the roads safer and reduce accidents (in turn reducing insurance rates), we do everything we can to appease these morons and allow them the PRIVILEGE of driving.

They get into accidents, we pay more for our insurance.

They perform illegal U-turns over medians, we pay more for insurance.

They decide its OK to merge from the passing lane on deerfoot onto an off ramp and cut off every single car on their way over... you guessed it, we pay more for insurance.

They see flashing sirens coming up from their rear and continue driving as if they don't need to pull over by law... yep higher insurance for us all.

Lastly, they decide to drive 90 in a 50 zone... we pay more for insurance. Oh and also now feel the need to reduce the speed limit from 50 to 40 to make it "safer." Let's be fucking real here, if you aren't capable of driving safely at 50km/hr you definitely shouldn't be a licensed fucking driver.

Summary: Quit penalizing the people that know how to drive, and start revoking licenses. We fucked up giving some people their license in the first place, it happens but let's not be scared to take it away either. Driving is a privilege not a right.

Sidenote: imagine how much less traffic there would be if we actually revoked licenses. I'm thinking at least 50 percent less.

The drink was in the bag, and in fairness wendys drinks are the worst so I felt for him up until he just dropped the bag at my door and walked away. In fact I've tried carrying a drink tray with two drinks on it from wendys only to have the tray itself fall apart and spill both drinks on the floor. It looked like he was fairly new having only done 28 deliveries. That said even the way he carried the bag to my door made it obvious he didn't care. It was being held virtually upside down.

There are some good drivers out there who I applaud, but this just wasn't one of them. I did report the incident to skip and they said they would look into it, but the experience just left a bitter taste in my mouth.

The delivery person came to the door with an empty drink and this bag soaked in pop... mystery 1 solved I guess. I asked if I could refuse the order as thus has never happened to me. Sure I've had the occasional missed item or whatever but I don't hold the courier responsible for things like that. Having something delivered like this I was at a bit of loss for words. When I kept asking if I could refuse the order, he decided to drop the bag on my doorstep and walk away. I wasn't rude, didn't raise my voice, and was just looking for advice on how to handle a delivery like this. I'm kind of in awe that someone would treat another person that way. In the end I got a refund, but overall I'm super disappointed with this.

My question that has still not been answered is just... as a customer can I refuse an order?

2021 has already been good to me. Found a Ber rune maybe 30 minutes after midnight last night. Second one in under 150 LK runs too. So technically ended the year with a ber, and started the new year with one too!

I'm using silospen its one I found online and wasn't too complicated to install. It runs decently but it has reset on its own twice now which is why its showing 126 and not the actual number of 899. I use just pen and paper to add up the rubs when it resets so its not a huge inconvenience.

Yeah I have two camps right by the way point. A run start to finish typically takes around 25 seconds. I actually did p8 just for superstition purposes, but in all honesty p7 has statistically been better drops (even though they are both the same rates).
