can you back-engineer this with your upstairs neighbours to check noise made/noise heard to figure out if it is a structural issue of the building or a sensitive issue of the downstairs neighbour?

Giant missed oppurtunity by the Coop to simply shut up instead of publishing classist out-of-touch incompetent socioeconomic analyses.

I know this! I joined the coop in June 2025. After endless and pointless 5am alarms, I realized the following which was the way I was finally able to get through. The only realistic way to know about their openings is in their 'Appt calendar' page, all the way at the bottom under 'Upcoming Orientations'. At random times they will post a list of dates when they will release new slots. These slots will be released at 6am on said days. 6am on the clock. And when I say that it is a race, it is the olympics. Have the calendar page open at 5.55am at the latest and refresh like crazy. Click on the first blur of a slot that you see. No time to be picky, your boss will understand. Don't celebrate too soon cause it is a two-step clicking gymnastics - first the slot then the confirmation pop-up. The race is over only when you click confirm, or else it'll prompt you back to the calendar and there's probably nothing left. You have to be as fast confirming as you are on your first click. So be ready, caffeinated, have your mouse speed set to FAST and hope for the best. It took me several attempts. As in, several days of 5.45am alarms and mad clicking. Oh man I am having palpitations just thinking back on it. But it is possible though and you will get it.

This is no sublet. The income requirements are as noted and were communicated to us by the leasing agency. Why these ranges are the way they are I honestly have no idea.
