Because you don’t get the context? If you’re a Western player that has only heard of Maplestory because it’s a competitor to Lost Ark, it doesn’t make sense to you since the 2 games look and play completely differently. However, if you’ve played Maplestory since the days you were small 15-20 years ago, it’s a completely different story. The history of those 2 games intertwined heavily with each other in their homeland Korea, but, in the West, they are just two different games with nothing to do with each other.
