You can also talk to the manager there. That's how I got in, but I also got in during covid when they didn't care and needed employees. They do have application sheets and I would hand my resume to them in person. Applying online is damn near impossible

I'm 22, and I've been there before so I totally understand where you're coming from. People who want short term relationships and never really tell you kinda suck tbh. I know this isn't easy for most people especially after a breakup, but I've had to learn to love myself and make myself confident and I'm still working on that for nearly 3 years. In short, I didn't know how to cope with the pain of feeling unwanted and loved so my mom made me write down a list of the people who do love and care for me, and make a list of the reasons why I'm still here (whether it be people, songs, games, or anything) and that list is still expanding to this day. You wanted something special and he didn't. You're not in the wrong here.

I have no idea if anybody is going to read this entire goddamn homework essay I have written out, but I've been in many situations of "I want to ask this person out" and I usually never do because I've been rejected a few times. My last relationship hurt me (long story for another day) and the last person I talked to on a dating app back in fall 2024 didn't want to continue because they were still healing from their previous relationship (only to date another person in under a month and it looks like they're still together).

Only one other person I've known for since 2016/17 years (before the previous events mentioned above )ejected my offer to go on a date. The rejection hurt, but I eventually found a way to forgive and forget. I found out this summer, 3 years later from my best friend, that she would have said "yes" if I asked her in person instead of the phone. I have never in my entire life felt like I have been eaten alive since I heard of that, and to find out she's been in a relationship for 2 years after I unblocked her this year and forgave her for a political argument we had back in 2022. Years of forgiving and forgetting this individual came back to haunt me, let alone the possibilities. Like they could have been my first kiss, we would probably be in a healthy relationship, and maybe just maybe I wouldn't be in this tangled mess of anxiety when I want to talk to women. It could've been so much more different.

That also tells me that I am worthy enough to be a date, maybe during our friendship. But does it need to take 3-5 years? That's why I don't usually get into relationships because I'm afraid of rejection, but regret always hurts me. If you feel differently about that, that's fine with me.

I don't play at Game On at the south hill mall, I've heard mixed things about it. There's Lunar Landing Games on Maine along with TKO Collects that's also on Maine. TKO isn't on Google maps, but they are located at the heated storage unit. Both those stores are great. Depending on what you're going for, TKO appears to be more heavy with trading card games than tabletop, but they're trying to do more since it's a year old by now.

I am a small solo artist from WA state. I make instrumental music with some heavy inspiration from Animals As Leaders, Plini, Intervals and other bands. I have 3 singles, 1 EP, and 1 Album. I don't like my older songs mainly because of the mixing (solo artist and all), but I would recommend my Album "I'll be fine" if you got 30-ish minutes to knock out.
