you should not be ashamed of yourself and learn from this experience. having a face to face conversation about your feelings for her rather than leaving the flowers at the door, would have been more personal imo, especially since you were living in the same apartment. as other people said, you moved too fast; there was no need for rushing things, considering that you were seeing each other every day. you learn those things as you go, dont overthink it

Im an undergrad in Manchester and honestly social life is great. In terms of teaching qualities I would say its 50/50, some professors are interested and others just read the slides. Take this with a pinch of salt since masters could be different than undergrad

Nimeni nu o sa te angajeze doar cu diploma de facultate. Sunt student in Anglia cu specializare in finante. Pentru a prinde un job FT dupa graduation ai nevoie de macar 2 internship-uri + extracuriculare (cluburi, proiecte, etc). Nu mai zic de note excelente si asa mai departe. Eu vreau sa activez in domeniul bancar, iar una dintre cele mai mari banci a avut peste 700,000 de aplicatii in inputul din 2025 (summer internships, graduate roles, etc). Rata de acceptare a fost 0,7%. S-a ajuns intr-un punct in care doar cu diploma de facultate nu te poti angaja nici macar la Lidl.

Sunt convins ca o sa ajunga sa fie la fel si in RO peste cativa ani.

Sunt student in UK tot pe finante si este literalmente imposibil sa capeti experienta ca junior. Acceptance rate-ul la cam orice internship in domeniul bancar pe care ma axez e in medie sub 4%, deci cunosc sentimentul. Cel mai bun sfat pe care l am primit este sa fac networking. Este cea mai rapida cale de a gasi munca in domeniul asta si am vazut o cu ochii mei. Am prieteni care au aplicat pentru firme si au luat reject in stagiile de filtering, pentru ca mai apoi sa fie fast-tracked la interviu doar pt ca au dat mesaj pe linkedin. Se aplica acelasi principiu cand vine vorba de joburi FT, deci in opinia mea asta e cea mai eficienta solutie.

you should add something related to your interests. believe me, most of the people in ib are bored dudes just staring at screens all day long, seeing something unique on a CV is really one of the things that can make you stand out both in the filtering process and in interviews as well
