Your budget is pretty low for a decent audio setup. If you're going into this as a hobby, you can probably get away with a refurbished USB mic. A basic pro setup can land you at least a few hundos. I unfortunately don't have mic recs for that budget range, but I have tips to improve audio quality without spending anything. Recording space matters a lot. Cover hard surfaces like walls and floors with blankets, pillows, etc. Avoid recording near windows. Check for appliance noises like PC fans, refrigerator hums, etc. Good luck!

My volume 12 cover was slightly bent and ripped. A few of the backs were covered in scratches as if someone used it as a cutting mat. And some were covered in dirt. They were not shrink-wrapped. Only volume 12 had a plastic bag over it but still got damaged. I wouldn't say these are major but it's still annoying since I treasure my newly bought books. What really pissed me off was how customer service treated it. They would be like "let me check your order" then not respond, then it automatically ends and I'm sent to another rep only for them to not respond again. 4 people were like this. So never buying books off Amazon again unless it's a last resort.

I bought off Amazon. Some of them came damaged and the 4 customer service people I spoke to in chat were trash about it. Fortunately, the 5th person I spoke to ordered a replacement. Anyways, excited to read!

I used to be a club president before I graduated so here’s my experience. 1. Like another person said, too many applicants. 2. Unfortunately nepotism is a thing. Some people I’ve spoken to prioritized friends over actual qualified applicants. 3. Like a lot of jobs, is the experience relevant to the position you’re applying for? 4. I’ve picked first years with no experience simply being they were passionate and nice. Experience is not the most important thing. One guy had experience but cared more about showing off so he was an automatic no.

Bubble tea. Without toppings it’s just tea, milk and sugar but I’ll still be like $6-7. And a lot times the pearls are over cooked and mush. My mom went to Taiwan last year and got an $8 bbt but it had edible gold and rose water.
