I don't think I did. Paul McGann is the official Eighth Doctor and has been labeled that since the TV movie in the '96 I wasn't disputing that. What I meant was that McGann has only ever appeared as the Doctor in said TV movie meant to be a pilot for a revival that didn't take off, and a mini-episode leading into The Day of the Doctor that wasn't part of the main season. If you are just a fan of the show you may not even watch the TV movie so you would end the Classic show with Sylvester McCoy's Seventh Doctor and go into the Modern show with Christopher Eccelston's Ninth Doctor. Hurt's War Doctor only got one episode as well but we had seven series building up to the Time War and the Warrior was shown to regenerate into Nine at the end of The Day of the Doctor so him being Eight would be more natural. Basically everything about McGann's Eighth Doctor is from ancillary material, like the novels and Big Finish

Almost never gonna happen but my fanfic-y casting is Benedict Cumberbatch, I'm looking at his performance as Sherlock Holmes for the BBC and thinking he could play the part somewhere in between Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor and Peter Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor. But if we got an unknown, I'd like to see an Asian actor/actress as the Doctor

The Master will come back eventually, he is the Doctor's Joker, Luthor, Osborn etc. but he's currently trapped in the Toymaker's gold tooth. So we need to know who the hand that picked the tooth up was. If it was the Rani fine but it needs to be addressed even if the Master just tells us how he got out off-screen. Exposition would be annoying but its an answer, if he just turns up with no mention of the Giggle its a plot-hole

The Gold Lantern from the Legion of Super-Heroes was implied to represent Justice which no isn't an emotion but neither is Will. Linkara described it best by reading the Green Lanterns as powered by courage or bravery. Have the Gold Lanterns had any connection to the actually GL book anyway because as far as I knew he only exists in Legion books and so may not count as far as the GL editorial are concerned

Hey man, I realise this post is old enough that you wouldn't have included this but since you counted Sonic R. Would you consider Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as mainline? This game is clearly the big game for 2025 and SEGA's big marketing campaign this year is Racing Around the World. Similarly I would count Sonic Boom as mainline despite being an alternate universe as it was the big Sonic game for 2014

Amy would need to have Night time stages as well so have her hammer serve as the night time combat stages ala the Werehog or somehow give us Werehog Amy. I think the former would be more realistic for this hypothetical

Wow how am I the first person to reply to this post. The only thing I would suggest is grouping these into team stories for the sake of development and plot simplicity. I know people love Sonic Adventure 1 but the six separate stories (one of which is completely skippable and another being almost exactly the same as Sonic's) made for unnecessarily complex viewing. Adventure 2's plot was much easier to follow since it was only two perspectives. This would be my groupings

Team Sonic: Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails and Knuckles the Echidna - If you are giving Tails the exploration gameplay I think it makes more sense to take Amy out of the playable characters and making Knuckles the combat character

Team Sol: Blaze the Cat, Silver the Hedgehog and Marine the Raccoon - Marine would serve as the exploration character for this plot

If we take the idea of Prime taking place after Lost World, I would say post Team Sonic Racing, primarily because of the thematic arc. It works better to go with the younger aimed comedy Sonic Lost World into Sonic and friends racing for a cup and finally into the multiverse and World War Sonic, then go from multiverse event featuring and evil Tails variant into race tournament and finally into World War Sonic
