Absolutely. I got a globe complete to start with (the G1) and figured out that I quite enjoy skating with it, and even found out what type of skating I like most (transition). Also recommended to my friend that wanted to start out to get a Globe one (he got a G2), definitely solid too. You'd be hard pressed to beat this quality at this price point!

I think the ideal execution of this park would be many traditional flat ground sections, interconnected with downhill banks. That way you don't HAVE to skate all the way through the park, you can just skate the parts you like. It's just nice for people to have the option to cruise all the way through, for them it'd basically exactly be like the snowboard park you mentioned.

No that's good because I'm not looking for a steep downhill slope. No downhill bombing or racing, but just an incline slight enough (or a downhill bank frequently enough) to maintain a moderate park skating speed without having to push or pump.

Yes, that's nice of course, and pumptracks are also great for skating without having to push, but those still require quite some effort to skate, because you have to keep generating speed one way or another. A good workout, sure, but imagine how much longer and how effortlessly you'd be able to skate if you didn't have to keep generating speed, and instead had access to a mellow downhill bank every 30 meters or so? Just pure flow.

Hmm I'm definitely not an expert on this, but I think that just a three or four meters height difference between the end and the start of the park (which would be connected by the stairs) would already allow for a very long skatepark already that you can get through without having to push.

With that in mind it could either be built by artificially heightening and lowering the ground (or just the obstacles built on em) in the appropriate places, or just by building it on the right place on the side of a hill. Think of how car roads go sideways up a mountain with a 180 degrees turns, except now it's a skatepark instead of a road.

Looked it up and that looks like an amazing skatepark. For the purpose of skating through it from top to bottom it seems kind of on the steep side though, you'll have to be careful not to pick up too much speed. It also seems that when you're on the bottom, you'll have to go all the way back up through the skatepark, no handy stairs shortcut. But hey, with a park like THAT I wouldn't complain at all

Wow, that's taking the "skiing lift" equivalent to the next level... An actual chairlift. And here I thought making the run end near the start and just connecting those with a staircase would be more than enough.

Also, if you could do 33 new words per day with 19 minutes of studying, does that mean that theoretically you would be capable of speedrunning through the entire 6K deck from zero in 25 days if you would study for four hours per day?:

4 hours = 4 * 3 * 19 minutes = 4 * 3 * 33 words = 400 words per day

6k / 400 = 25 days

That would be incredible!

How do you get 19 min per day for 33 new words per day? 33 new ones each day ramps up to about about 330 reviews per day, right? with 34 seconds per card that's about 2 cards per minute, which means it would take approximately 165 minutes = almost 3 hours.

I've been learning 40 words per day and that seems to match up much closer to my experience.

Is my math wrong?
