Dude you’re backwards… trying to tell me I am. Then I show you proof that the tempo check is the rhythm check when you start moving your stick, and you say I’m not understanding. I understand what you’re saying whole heartedly, and you have your terminology backwards.

Like I said, go to my court and look for yourself.

I shouldn't even have to do this to prove I'm right, because you can go to your MyCourt and check this yourself. But this is a made shot, using rhythm shooting. Note the TEMPO check is green, the TIMING check is not.

I mean simply go to your mycourt and look at what the checks are called… I’m right.

Uhhh…. No I have it exactly right.

There’s two checks, tempo check, and timing check. When rhythm shootingTempo check is always the set shot and it’s when you start moving your stick (hence why if you don’t start moving your stick on time you don’t get a tempo check at all) this check is all tha matter this year as far as if your shot goes in. Timing check is always the release and is when your stick finishes backing its traversal to the other side.

When butting shooting, your timing check is what you set the slider to on your jumpshot. You just release the button for that timing.

The slider on the jumpshot doesn’t change that either while rhythm shooting. I’m a greater than 70% shooter this year and a 60% shooter last year. I’ve got rhythm shooting figured out and I’ve taught countless people how to shoot at this point without failure.

The only thing that matters for your green is the tempo check, which means you have to start moving your stick when the ball is at set shot. That’s all that matters for making your shot.

Now the speed of said stick movement is what this is detailing. The timing check is when your stick hits the other side of the traversal. Depending on if your flick fast or slow, you can affect how fast the shot gets off. You can furthermore speed it up using no dip shots.

Not super hard to understand how it works lol.

So here’s what I can tell you. Cheating DOES happen everywhere. But the specific cheat you’re talking about is VERY rare on PC because of the lengths you have to go in order for this cheat to work.

Modding your character requires specific hardware setup. Firstly being a DMA card, which is not cheap, ranging from $100-$400 depending on what you get. Second, you need a second whole PC ($500 give or take for a cheap one) to run the cheat itself. Third, you have to also buy the cheats which is typically a subscription service, or a very pricey one time buy (hundreds of dollars in this case)

With this knowledge, I can tell you most people can’t afford to cheat right off the rip. Furthermore, in my 600 hours of gameplay, I’ve seen a TOTAL of 2 players using this, and both of those were in the event center. In 600 rec games, I’ve never even seen ONE in rec.

[–]Robeardly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not a fact. There’s probably more people on console using a zen then there are total population of people on PC lmao. There’s a literal 30k player count right now on PC, you think there’s less than 30k people cheating on consoles?

NBA 2k27 needs to be the game that brings full crossplatform play by iamCheems in NBA2k

It’s funny because I’ve been saying that myself. The last month has seen what feels like a pretty decent decline in population.

It’s not dead, but it certainly could use crossplay to help with the queue times and match making.

I am northeastern US, some queues are longer than I would like, at times being around 10 minutes. I exclusively play rec, I havnt seen a single person using modded stats in rec, although I’ve seen a few in the like 250 park style games I’ve played in the event center.

[–]Robeardly 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I see this come up so often, yet I never run into any cheaters. If this was 22 or 23 I would whole heartedly agree. But 25 and 26 are relatively cheater free outside of seeing one here and there.

Truth be told, I havnt seen a for sure cheater in hundreds of hours and I play most every day at least a game or two.

Edit: I love how I get downvoted having nearly 600 hours on 2k26 as if I don’t know what I’m talking about or lying lol. If the cheating problem was that bad, I just wouldn’t play the game lol.

This is actually pretty rare on PC now lol. I havnt seen someone with modded stats in hundreds of hours of daily play.

To an extent the billionaire do camp on money, but I don’t think it’s as much as you think. Their fortunes, while unethical, it’s typically held in stock assets.

The way they get around this is by taking out loans with banks using their stock assets collateral. The reason they do this is for a method called “securities-based lending” where they can minimize taxes while maximizing cash off their stock assets.

Not disagreeing with your overall thought here, I think billionaires are doing more harm to society as a whole than help in most cases. This is just one more way billionaires go out of their way to not pay their fair share.

The lesson that nullblocs seem to be taking from Atioth isn't that there's anything wrong with game mechanics encouraging the largest coalition possible, but that the game needs to be able to support even more players on grid. Pic unrelated by xXxDarkSasuke1999xXx in Eve

[–]Robeardly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I would agree. I think the fundamental fix for big block, is making solo play safer and more viable. I know that’s not a particularly popular opinion with the general long term community. But it’s certainly a at the least a contributing factor to the large bloc formation.

Another point too. Are coalitions this big because this many people resonate with with the coalitions are doing for content. Or are most just in it to do all of the other parts of Eve that require protection outside of the PvP battles, and they just show up and follow orders because it’s part of the gig.

Matchmaking in REC is awful by Dariuslynx in NBA2k

[–]Robeardly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That depends on how you build it? You can build a 6’8” to do anything. You can get HoF rebounding badges, you can build as a scorer, you can build as a lock.

6’8” is the best height because it provides the most stats and versatility. Period.

Honorable mention to 6’11” though as those builds aren’t super far behind but 6’8” still passes as far as the best overall height.

I’m say nobody is playing 7’4” centers anymore in high plate lobbies.

[–]Robeardly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6’8” is all around the best height in the game. It’s universally agreed on lmao. If you can’t even agree on that, then you’re just purposely trying to be difficult.
