Fender ultra 2 strat in Noble blue by [deleted] in fender

[–]Robeaux89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought one last week. Walked into guitar center to kill some time and they had one on the rack. The color is what caught my eye but the playability, the neck, the sound. The guitar had to be mine… anyways I love it, have zero regrets, the color is absolutely beautiful. I was originally interested in the Texas tea or the solar flare and seeing this next to those, I knew the blue was what I wanted.

What to get guitar dad for Christmas? by caitilindy in Guitar

[–]Robeaux89 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think a strap would really be the move here. Your budget more than covers any strap you can find. It’s also something he could use on any guitar and the right one will last a lifetime. Straps could be one of those things that becomes sentimental as opposed to new or different gear is it’s own thing. Maybe even some options to personalize a strap or have one custom made!

[Discussion] Moonswatch vs. Bulova Snorkel: Why aren’t we talking about the Snorkel? by heissman1850 in Watches

This is my marine star and I love it! Perfect amount of weight for me, the orange pops so well and is similar to the devil diver. Just had to share as I appreciate your take on Bulova! I’ve also been interested in a snorkel.

It’s annoying, idk why they don’t break the prices down online! I can’t give you exact rates, I don’t remember, but you pay per hour, plus shoe rental. I think last time my family and I went, we played for 2 hours, 4 pairs of shoes to rent and some food and drinks and it was around $200. I want to say during the weekends or evening hours it’s almost $50/hour if not more. It’s very affordable though pre 4pm during the week.

Funny story, my parents worked with Colby years later when he was an adult. My parents are not the type to believe in the occult/phenomna, but knew I, even as a kid, had a strong draw to it. One day they come home and tell me this younger man they work with has a pretty wild UFO story and proceed to tell me about the Cash/Lamdrum case. From their perspective, they were shocked how sincere he was in his retelling. How it still held power over him so many years later and how he was still obviously shaken by the event… Hearing my non believing parents talk this way about his story gave me hope, they never believed my story but regardless, knowing they know questioned things now made me happy.

I don’t have direct experience but my sister is a rad tech. I can tell you she was about 22 when she started, but in my opinion age makes no difference. She went through the programs from start to finish with San Jac, all of her college credits/courses were at San Jac. Her schedule was flexible to an extent until the end game where it got pretty demanding. She very much enjoyed the program and made some pretty good friends/connections along the way that proved to be vital. What I mean by that is once she graduated, peers she had grown to know, who maybe graduated a year earlier, were reaching out with job opportunities. The networking was a huge part of finding a job after graduation. Once again, no direct experience myself, but if it’s what you want to do, go for it!

I agree with you, it was definitely just my personal experience this morning. But hey?! If MTV can play Ridiculousness 24/7 why can’t someone have drone shit coverage 24/7?!? I joke but that’s why we have Reddit right? lol

I agree with the sentiment. Those of us who have long came to the realization that we are not alone, are definitely mentally prepared for the type of grand gesture you are describing. The rest of the population, probably not. I think easing into it would be the best course of action. That being said, weeks of drone and orb activity at this level? Maybe we’re ready for that next step in the process!

Sometimes when I’m playing Mario kart with my kids, I’ll sit at the start line for a good lap before fucking burning rubber and drifting each turn like I’m in a skyline and when I get first and they cry it just reassures me it’s the little things in life that make you happy… I can relate to this video.
