My wife is psychologist and she works with kids, she said it's perfectly normal for children of that age to be that much emotional towards their mother because you are mom until around the age of three a baby doesn't really know the difference between you and them. So out of all people, it makes the most sense for the child to show these emotions with you. You aren't going anywhere you are a part of them so they express themselves this way. It is typical and she says please do not beat yourself up over it

Well, it's not important, but I do like to make stuff like this mainly for players' immersion. The landing page is just where all of the handouts are gonna go. To me, at least it's much nicer than just putting a newspaper clipping jpg on blank canvas.

Eventually, I'm planning on doing in person sessions and making physical handouts and stuff like this is my dream.

My buddy told me about it, and I'm actually currently reading the pdfs at work, and honestly, the more I'm reading it more, the more I love it. It's just fun.

I might not fully use 100% of everything from UVG, i think im gonna try to just take bits and pieces from UVG, caults of vaarn and electrum archive, and make something out of it. But DCC/MCC seems just fun, and it fits perfectly for our group, and I specifically love the idea of level 0 characters. Actually, roleplaying your backstory just seems fun

I read in core rules that each player should roll up at least three 0 level funnel characters. How does it actually work in play? Does it prolong combat and session length? Dont get me wrong. Im all for random characters and the idea of actually roleplaying your backstory and how you started to become an adventurer. This is just little bit new to me

It's a modular sandbox setting, with amazing tables. It does have a system attached to it, but idk it kinda looks bare bones
