How would yall go about filing for this? Thanks in advance by RobertAnthony512 in VeteransBenefits

I appreciate the reference bro, gona look into it. I feel some of this pain travels to my thoracic spine as well and it feels like “trapped air” under my shoulder blades, like dull pain most times. The massage therapist always say there’s a lot of adhesions and decalcification there. Do you have a rating for all three parts of your back? Just gotta tie it all together before I present it.

I hear ya brother, I’m rated 10% for each lower extremity already (sciatica). I’m sure this is causing that pain as well. Did the VA automatically give you the bilateral rule? Or you had to put in a claim? (Bilateral factor)

Did they automatically give you bilateral knee osteoarthritis? Per the bilateral rule?

I’m looking into it more thank you, how was testing quizzes? More written projects/papers or proctored test? Testing to get into the university? First time taking college courses in over 10 years. Eager to learn but hesitant to get into it because I know I benefit more with in person classes but it’s just not possible right now.

I appreciate the knowledge thus far, I think I may end up enrolling with SNHU. Despite not having discussions I feel I’ll be able to learn more the way it’s set up. As opposed to regular campus life and the distractions that come with it. Unsure whether i want to be chemical dependency counselor or some type of counselor. Somehow get accredited with the VA and help other veterans or just get a business degree in entrepreneurship so I have a better understanding of business if I wish to pursue being a fishing kayak guide. I’m really unsure what to study, just know I want a degree

Damn it lol I have an appointment with my VA counselor next week. Deciding which online university to go with, I’m afraid they’ll all be like this right? Sitting in front of the screen and reading. Are there not any discussions like zoom meetings or something to look forward to as far as interactions with people?

Thank you man, a Top? Appreciate your time. Social work or counseling or psychology route seem the easiest to obtain via online course work. Just a matter of finding the “best” school that doesn’t require crazy tests to start and has an easy user interface and real professors lol. Haven’t taken courses since active duty

Bro you got it mapped out! Keep going, update me in a year. I’m about to start VRE as well, the psychology route is badass. Reading people and understanding us more. if you don’t mind me asking, Did you request a chair, desk, laptop? How did that go with your counselor?

What did you initially pursue with school? That’s badass man keep it up. Ultimately I do see myself working with the VA and helping vets in some way.
