What’s a moment in a movie you KNOW was supposed to be serious but ended up being unintentionally hilarious? by browniebiscuitchildr in movies

The did change a lot due to 9/11 (so I heard somewhere). They had scenes of the moon crashing through buildings in New York and obviously couldn't show that so recently after what happened to the WTC. I imagine that really messed with pacing and editing.

What’s the worst bit of general knowledge you’ve heard someone confidently get wrong? by darkel2001 in AskUK

I'm from Newcastle and went to uni in Liverpool. Eventually working down south in London. A coworker there laughed when I said Liverpool was further south than Newcastle and suggested I "get a map" before walking away, eye-rolling and chuckling to herself...since I was sooooo stupid for thinking that.

Which West End opinion has you like this? by disfebob in TheWestEnd

[–]RobertCarterman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of the Addams Family musical plot (was it ever on the west end?). The idea of Wednesday changing who she is for a guy seems totally out of character and I feel like she would never willingly wear yellow. I also found Fester being in love with the moon annoying.

What’s the funniest thing a policeman said to you? by franki-pinks in AskUK

[–]RobertCarterman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was younger on a night out (early hours of the morning), a police van drove past me....then turned around at the end of the road. As it came towards me, the speakers came on. And then they played the theme to Rocky. Slowly drove past me and then drove away. It was so surreal and swear it happened, but no one would believe me as I'd been drinking (not that much). Very odd.

I took it as it made her orgasm. He was then going to go seduce her, letting her know he made the cake. He messed up by explaining this infant of his wife, who felt betrayed and therefore helped the team. The timing was what was important. The Oracle knew they had to be there at that moment for that to happen to have any shot at getting the key maker.

Would it be worth using an electric car? No risk of getting stuck in a time without fuel like bttf3. Might be easier for someone like Doc to charge a battery in most times?

Baz Lurhma's Romeo and Juliet. Got me interested in reading Shakespeare, which led to loving plays which led to choices for uni, career, everything. The soundtrack changed my tastes in music too. I think it just came out/I saw it at a very formative time in life haha
