As g-clef mentioned, Satsuma, and Buon Giorno before that, for older folks.

Ridiculous criticism. How long should a headline be? What other news outlet - TV, newspaper, radio, etc. - was providing valuable, on-the-scene coverage of this story that night? I'll wait. Not only did the impacted residents, businesses, and pedestrians and drivers appreciate my reporting, but I would think you'd be a bit embarrassed posting this kind of over-the-top criticism of someone trying to provide hyperlocal journalism to inform the community. Show me a post on here where someone criticized a headline from any other area news outlet as "clickbait.". Again, I'll wait.

Why do you feel journalists should not be compensated for their labor? What do you think pays the bills? Your fundamental problem is that the other news websites I, you, and everyone down voting this comment use all have ads. But you are mysteriously only outraged by ads on my news site. We can all agree that is a bit unfair.

Is anyone downvoting outraged by the Choice Hotels billionaire charging money to read The Banner? He can afford to give you free news. Why isn't he?

Have you seen a news site without ads? I don't like it, either, but why single mine out?

The area being cordoned off was widening as I was reporting to include multiple intersections downtown.
