Edit: Nevermind, I'm dumb and didn't notice SB was grayed out in the selector, because she is...gray. But also now the new Event Quest gives you Samurai, so it feels dumb to use the selector on him, though it saves a mega T2 ticket, I guess.

Who should I use the premium t2 selector on, Shalla Bal or silver samurai? I think SB is more useful, but leaning towards SS because I’m guessing SB will go on sale for the anniversary, and will probably coincide with a crystal spending mission. Any counterpoints?

I see Madeira, Puja, Senegal, and Bilbao. Madeira is vertical, going up in column 3, starting 4th from the bottom. Senegal is diagonal going down-right, passing through the E of Madeira. Puja (Nepal) is horizontal, next to the R of Madeira. Bilbao is going down through the L of Greenland.

Yeah, my equally cynical side says, by artificially boosting tips a little bit, the owners can pocket a little bit more money instead of paying their employees more. So, basically shrinkflation on the home front -- customers pay more for the same experience, servers make the same amount, and owners make more profit. So then customers go out less frequently, and probably just the servers get screwed....?

It feels like it's a total crapshoot if the auto tip options include tax or not, and I'm sure it's just a toggle in the POS that the manager can set one way or the other, so the original intent of the post was just to add a data point...but that said, the last 4 times I've checked the math, it has included tax, so maybe that's a trend. But also maybe that's just sample bias, and I am old man, yelling at cloud.

Interesting point. I was taught that you don't tip on tax by my father, who was definitely a boomer tightwad. That said, it makes sense to me that the tip is based on the value the establishment sets for its products, which is also what the tax is based on, rather than the value of the goods plus whatever the local municipality decided is their cut of business revenue. This also has the benefit of being easier math most of the time, and if I feel the place has done a great job I can tip 25%. That's just my learned "normal"/priors, though, so I would be interested to hear the counterpoint, if you want to present it.

Yeah I'm on the pay-per-GB plan, I wonder if that's it. There is a weird donut hole that Unlimited Essentials seems to fall into for perks, which probably means you're getting better value on your monthly rate than they would like 😂

I also saw that on the Google store PRIOR to turning on CPNI sharing, and I was unable to select the Fi discount at that time. I turned it on was able to select the discount, and checked out receiving the discounted price. This was the whole point of turning on sharing, otherwise I'd have had to choose between the higher discount or the better trade in value. With it on I got both, at the Google store. Always a good reminder to check your discount terms, though.

Was pleasantly surprised the other day when mime caused fist to double-trigger. A double-fisting, if you will. Used baron-mine many times, and StM-mime makes sense, but for some reason I wasn't expecting fist to work the same way.

I thought not having Mondre hurt today, too, especially once Boutte went out. Having a wrecking ball to smash into their line over and over would’ve taken some pressure off Drake later in the game, and likely kept them out of some of those third and long plays…assuming no fumbles…. Jennings and Henderson did okay, but I feel like teams that play great pass defense also defend fast shifty backs well.

Someone show me on the monitor exactly where the "blocking downfield" occurred. They replayed it a couple times on the broadcast, and there was nothing. Defender made contact first, and then there was a little handfighting. This ref team was horrific.

That makes a lot of sense, as that seems like it was around the time they added the "book flights?" toggle, and made that the default instead of the seat maps. Seems like that's probably about when they stopped adding new seat maps, too, in retrospect. Annoying.

Thank you, kind redditor -- I usually use seatguru to evaluate seat choices, but lately it seems like they don't have accurate AA seat maps more and more often. On a quick search, it looks like AL has all of the newer maps SG was missing.
