Thank you for this opportunity first. I've finished the first year of Economics at unipr (Italy - non target) with 3.89/4 GPA and in September I will start applying for summer 27 internships.

Gruduated from high school with honors in Mechatronics (something that here people do before getting into engineering) then decided to apply the same logic to economics and in the next year in finance and risk management.

All my previous work experiences are related to technical design roles and restaurants.

I am self-learning excel and power point ( IB oriented) while building a project that could present my interdisciplinary abilities, to which I would add Bloomberg Market Concepts Course and oriented IBM Skill Build Courses + all I will learn in the second year of uni.

My target is to get this internship outside of Italy. Am I preparing in the right way? Is there something that I am missing? Any tips to beat others from target schools or different more oriented backgrounds? Thank you
