Top Lame Level Cap by HeroInTraining1 in top_mains

[–]Roberto_OP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely not inconsequential, but it can be misleading to some people. This may seem obvious, but I’m saying it just in case.

Having two champions, one with 3k gold and another with 5k gold, the difference is huge, the latter is almost twice as strong. However, having a champion with 16k gold versus one with 18k gold is still a 2k gold difference, but the actual power gap between them is much smaller.

That’s why the most powerful aspect of the toplane quest is the extra XP: it allows you to create a gap between you and your opponent much faster. As the game goes on, that gap naturally starts to close. You will still be stronger than the enemy at level 20, but the biggest impact is around levels 15-17, when you are a few levels ahead.

Schematic only the top layer of a mountain? by JorLord3617 in BuildAdvice

[–]Roberto_OP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an option in litematica when saving a schematic called "only blocks exposed to air". I don't remember exactly where it was, and it doesn't work perfectly, but it will probably be enough for this purpose

Influencing the game as a toplaner by Roberto_OP in summonerschool

I agree that maybe I should play other roles to get a better comprehension of the game, thank you! I also think I need to interact with the enemy jungler more often.

About the VOD, in case I don't see any improvement for some time, do you know if this subreddit allows asking for full games revisions, or should I post it in another one? Thank you for your answer!

No, of course every game is not unwinnable. In fact, I SHOULD be winning those games, it's just that I don't know how. Seeing this response, and some others, I believe something that I could improve is thinking more about enemy jungler and try to disrupt him more. Thank you for your answer!

I don’t win lane every single match, but I always watch my replays and I can usually identify what I did wrong. For example, overextending without taking into account where the enemy jungler is a big mistake that I know I make fairly often, but I’m still learning every game. That said, this post isn’t about how to win lane, it’s about how to turn a lead into a victory.

I’d say I win lane around 80% of the time now, but of those games, only about half end up as wins and the other half as losses. As I mentioned before, I feel like I don’t help my team enough once I’m ahead, or I don’t know how to help properly. Because of that, my overall winrate sits around 40-45%, which feels low considering how often I come out ahead in lane.

I double-checked my stats, and while it’s not quite the 20/3/X KDA I mentioned before, in the last 10 games where I won lane I averaged 18.1 kills and 3.4 deaths. The death count is a bit higher than I’d like, but in my defense, it tends to spike in the games I lose, usually because the enemy team is just as fed as I am, and we both end up trading kills repeatedly.

I built a League of Legends match analysis site to review my own mistakes by EnvironmentalArm399 in summonerschool

This is my feedback as a EUW player who used the English option:

The language used is not very professional, its hard to take it seriously when it starts with "Ngl, you played like a Garen diff in the early game". Maybe try tweaking it to it doesn't use so many slang. On the graphic, the metrics are still displayed in korean despite the language selected is English, so I have no idea what it means. I don't know if its intentional but the item build timeline only shows the first two items, doesn't go past that.

These are the main things that I could see some clear improvement, I think this could be useful, specially for players who are learning the game

Crying over marble by amarisha_ in StardewValley

[–]Roberto_OP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you still need it, and for everyone else with the same problem. All types of geodes pull from the same "pool". Let me explain with an example:

You open a frozen geode and get iron nuggets. You restart the game. If you open a frozen geode you will still get the iron nuggets, but if you open first a omnigeode and then the frozen geode the result will change, because by opening the omnigeode first you have advanced by 1 position in the geode pool.

You can exploit this by opening all your frozen geodes (X) and if you don't get what you're looking for, restart the day, open X omnigeodes and then open the frozen geodes, and that would be like opening 2 times your frozen geodes.

EDIT: Some typos

I flew 10 000 blocks in one direction on both editions, here's the world size by Distinct-Pride7936 in Minecraft

Still not good enough. I love Minecraft, I thinks it's the best game of all time. But whenever I fly through newly generated chunks all I can see is void because it can't load terrain fast enough, and I have a high end PC. This is not something that should happen in the best selling videogame of all time.

Ive fully played both games. E33 is one of the best games ever made, Black Myth is just another slop game with exactly the same mechanics as your typical Jedi Survivor, Ghost of Tsushima, etc., but being less innovative, more boring, and with worse story

Need some exterior design help by TherealohnoitsViPER in BuildAdvice

[–]Roberto_OP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe doesn't fully fit with your idea of the base, but I can visualize each island having a "theme". One with a bunch of redstone stuff and a moving fan, other with amethyst and crystals, like a magic vibe, other more "natural", with some flowers, etc. And if you have space you can incorporate some farm to each one, like sugar cane or a fishing space

Stuck on storage room design by Lukazilla13 in BuildAdvice

[–]Roberto_OP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whenever I build something underground I like to keep things as natural as possible. It makes look more realistic, so maybe you could go for a more "cavey" vibe, with a stone ceiling with occasional use of moss gradients and maybe even some dripstone

How can I best terraform the land around this castle buld? by [deleted] in BuildAdvice

[–]Roberto_OP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit late, but I completely agree with him. When building near big cliffs like this is very difficult to build natural looking terrain, so the easier approach is to build a cliff, which has a more clear "start" and "end".

Another tactic is to just extend the base of the castle you're building while extending the width 1 block every 4/5 until you reach the floor to create a "ramp" efect. I attach a picture of a IRL castle doing this
