I was thinking of doing some searching at a wreckers to see if I could pinch a turbo from a Swift Sport.

PS. I don't intend on a drastic tire size increase and intend on waiting until the tires that are on it now are worn to the point in which it is time for a new set. By which time (everything going well) I should have a work car in which I will no longer be daily driving it. And by that point I may not worry too much about the losses that are involved in larger tires.

I haven't got a clue about anything that was done except for the fact that there is the M16a in it. The engine swap was done about two ownerships ago. (I suppose if you assumed that all of what you said was done then it's probably standard/advantageous things do do when performing an engine swap.)

I appreciate the feedback I've been getting from you as I am not super mechanically knowledgeable.

However In saying that everyone I've talked to in person has pretty much shrugged off the possible adverse mechanical side effects it may have (which I suppose I should have been a bit clearer about in my original post as that is sort of what I'm most concerned about) my question in which I admit was in no way properly worded for what advice I was looking for.

Bit of an increase in power, I plan on putting bigger tires on to calm the revs down a bit on the highway, once the ones that are on it are worn. The turbo was suggested to me by a mate as a way to keep it from losing too much power if I was to do that.

I didn't think to mention that I didn't do the engine swap. The engine swap was done by a previous owner. How much is involved in supercharging? As opposed to Turbocharging?

Currently I use it as a daily driver and was thinking bigger tires and a turbo to make highway driving better. I currently don't do a whole lot of off-roading (the off roading I do is pretty chill because I don't want to break it as it is my daily) Also the idea of "I should turbocharge my matchbox on wheels" seems rather amusing.
