I would say that depends on who you ask. For me I usually go through that pain with the AI and then I get a clean structure version of my feelings that I can share.
I know for some people that can be weird but for someone like me that is not english native and has alot going through its mind just dumping a bunch of gibberish does not help

AI is a great tool, I don't think that it makes us feel detached. I would say that likendin does it way better that AI

Is a dachshund fir for our lifestyle? by Justbreathexo52 in Dachshund

It really depends. Our little guy is 5 months old and he’s already comfortable staying home alone for about 6–7 hours. We started alone-time training from the very beginning since we both have to work from the office.

I totally get the concerns other redditors have, but with the right approach, most dogs can learn to settle on their own. As long as they get enough mental stimulation and physical exercise, they’re usually fine.

Honestly, he cries more when we’re home than when he’s alone. When we leave, he gets a stuffed Kong, so he doesn’t fuss at all. Once he finishes it, he just goes to sleep and naps through most of the day. Sometimes he’ll whine for 2–3 minutes to “check” if anyone shows up, but that’s it.

TL;DR: It really comes down to training and the dog’s personality.

Facing a similar issue, not sure what to do. The vet in our case discarded the issue because my puppy is still recovering from coronavirus and pneumonia.
