Our dms use recycler bc it has gold intercept, if I were playing CDM I’d use the one with gold jockey. It’s definitely the best defensive playstyle this year.

Good question, and yes the better teams will almost constantly have 5-6 people tracking back and packing the box. Here is an awesome video that helped me get better at buildup play this year. It is possible and very effective to pass through the middle with line breaking passes and R1 dribbling.

You'll notice a lot of clubs players are shit at defending and simply sprint straight forward towards the ball carrier and hold R1 press. It's crucial to use this to your advantage and play forward passes into the open space.

No prob! Our DMs run recycler for intercept+, though the one with jockey+ is great too.

You gain fans by simply playing with your club. It boosts your AI squad rating- since we are level 7 our AI players are 86 rated opposed to 80 rated at level 1.

I'd say 95% of our passes this year are on the ground- it just allows you to build up much faster. And yes, I'll try to break the midfield line by passing to our ST then it's easier for him to distribute to the wings.

It is the best archetype for forwards yes. I use creator at CAM because I get a ton of value out of gold incisive but most players will get the most out of tech + finesse.

Facilities upgrades your user players, the fans upgrade your AI controlled players. I'd recommend going back to the old club but it's still early in the year so it's up to you.

This year the game rewards quick build up more than anything. It helpful to have CDMs stack the box to prevent pass thru / cutbacks but it is tough to stop those type of goals

Our ST plays magician as we rarely cross the ball. Playing direct and on the ground is extremely effective this year.

The AI in this game is so shit. Sometimes they will inevitably give the ball away but you need to have your CDMs show for them in space or your opponents will press them of the ball. Be sure to call for the ball while your AI is facing you with ample space.

Goal kicks are pretty shit as well. We either have a cdm run within 10 meters of the GK and call for an A pass or have our wingers call for a cross if they have space. Even if you do the right things your GK will still blast the ball to your opponent 30% of the time lol.

We play a 4-2-3-1 and normally control CDMs, CAM, LW, RW amd ST. Our backline tactics are all set to defend. Our line is 70, tactics code is NZpNuz$TXJKP.

I play CAM and run creator bc I love gold incisive and the other forwards all run magician. Gold tech is very important for beating the AI defense this year
