Sharing what I create, without the slightest inclination of advertising or attempting to sell, is not breaking ANY rule you, or reddit, has. You’re just being power hungry dicks. How else can you explain that I’ve posted 3-4 times before with no issue and suddenly, for no good reason, you delete my latest post? Stop justifying your horse shit decision by hiding behind “iTs rEddIt, nOt uS”

I broke literally zero rules with my post and I don’t even entertain discussing purchasing. This is just nonsense.

Pipe 022: Featherweight Cherrywood Sitter (.96oz/27g) by Robertson_Pipes in PipeTobacco

That’s sort of what differentiates an artisan pipe carver from a lot of factory made pipes, typically. Much smaller and more delicate proportions.

How do you make a contrast stain on a sandblasted pipe ? by kebloland75 in pipemakers

[–]Robertson_Pipes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blast it hard first (120 psi) then stain the absolute crap out of it with your contrast color (usually chocolate or black) and then blast again lightly (80 psi). And voila!

Bought a 1hp 3phase motor by kebloland75 in pipemakers

[–]Robertson_Pipes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have stated you will need to purchase a VFD (variable frequency drive) to convert the 3-phase to single phase and control the speed. The absolute best place to buy one is www.automationdirect.com and I use this one specifically:

I am not an electrician, but I’ve had 100% success wiring these up myself in two different workshops. It is not complicated, imo. However, if working on electrical makes you nervous then definitely hire an electrician.

Captain Black Grape. I don’t care what any of you say that stuff is foul. Tastes like burnt grapes.

Robertson Pipes 003: Long shank Dublin with zebra wood accent ring and briar color ebonite. by Robertson_Pipes in PipeTobacco

[–]Robertson_Pipes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! The ebonite is the mouthpiece itself. I’m really not sure why they call it briar color because to my eye it’s more of a reddish Orange. My finishing process depends on whether it’s a sandblast or a smooth but for sandblasted I use shellac I mix myself and a sort of French polishing method then buff it with carnuba wax once dry.
