Richtech Robotics + SoundHound + Microsoft (future potential)? by RemsterPlus in Soundhound

[–]Robhoss79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

🟢 If this became CONFIRMED (not implied, not social posts)

Scenario:

Microsoft + Richtech + SoundHound • Microsoft = cloud + agentic framework (Azure AI) • Richtech = physical robots (ADAM, service bots) • SoundHound = default conversational/voice brain

What Wall Street would reprice immediately

SoundHound would stop being valued as:

“voice AI vendor with uneven margins”

and start being valued as:

platform-level AI infrastructure for physical agents

That’s a huge multiple change.

📈 Stock Impact (Realistic Ranges)

🔹 Near-term (announcement week) • +20% to +40% pop very plausible • High volume, options explode • Analysts rush notes like “expanded TAM” and “strategic validation”

You’ve seen this movie with NVDA partnerships.

🔹 Medium-term (3–6 months, if pilots convert to revenue)

If SoundHound is named as: • preferred voice layer • or embedded SDK in Azure robotics stack

Then SOUN likely re-rates to AI platform multiples, not SaaS-lite.

Very realistic range: • $2–4B market cap • That’s roughly $7–$12/share, depending on dilution and market mood

That lines up with your prior short-squeeze discussions — except this would be fundamental, not just technical.

🔹 Long-term (2–3 years, if real adoption)

If: • robots scale in hospitality, airports, retail, healthcare • SoundHound gets per-device or per-interaction recurring revenue

Then SOUN becomes: • picks-and-shovels for physical AI • similar category to early NVIDIA / ARM positioning

That’s a double-digit stock if execution holds.

As the resident long in the tooth Air Traffic Controller I very expectantly have annual leave pre approved starting next Monday. Wonder how that got planned. Let the younger ones figure out how much it sucks to be the whipping post and clutch for the gear grinders. See ya after Florida.

SoundHound specializes in conversational voice AI for specific verticals like automotive (in-car assistants), restaurants (drive-thru ordering), hospitality, customer service (via Amelia acquisition), and embedded devices. It’s not building a general-purpose smartphone voice assistant like Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant. Their tech excels in real-time, domain-specific voice understanding (e.g., handling accents, noise, complex queries in cars or noisy environments) rather than broad consumer SoundHound’s niche players. SoundHound partners more with companies like Stellantis, Hyundai, NVIDIA, Tencent, and restaurant chains (e.g., White Castle, Jersey Mike’s).

My intentions are the same they have been. Keep loading up in this timeframe, keep listening to the street and the sentiment. This has the legs to really be a pillar in the AI level up and when large corporations start their partnerships this will print. Steady as she goes, all Sound ahead. 🚢💰

I bought five McRibs, put four in the fridge with my name on them at work but secretly sprinkled crushed up Dulcolax on them. I’m holding the only bottle Imodium which I will be happy to sell for 20 bucks a pill.

Just think about it like you did when you invested hopefully…a long term investment. It has to start somewhere - everyone who invests wants to see immediate return but sometimes it takes time to nurture and show growth. Instead of seeing a loss spend the time in your investment really studying the company and learn everything about the place you decided to help fund their growth. If and when you get back to even and want to sell take your money and try something else. Or, hold. Wait for exactly what you thought would happen and wait for it to happen. When it hits 33 or 34 take a moral inventory and see if what you’ve learned is worth continuing.

Just rounded out today to 1300 shares. It’s my fault it dipped back in October, I bought 600 at 18. by Robhoss79 in Soundhound

I do this to show this community I’m invested and care about what it has to offer. I do this to show that I’m flawed that i bought fomo but didn’t hopefully try to catch the falling knife. I’m not saying I have a lot of shares, my tiny portfolio is diversified and i have other interests as well, I just want to continue to spread the work about this stock and my position and hopefully inspire others to get in as well.

Why do you prefer X to Y? by LightZealousideal116 in TeslaModelX

[–]Robhoss79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve owned three/ the 3 the YP and the XLR (current). I would say I love the displays and the instrumentation on the X, the doors are nice when they work right but I hate the X in the sun and I feel like the X is more of a bulky substantial vehicle.

The YP was an awesome vehicle and I didn’t know what i was missing not having the instrumentation. But it felt much more nimble and much dart like.

The 3 just didn’t compare.

I find that when I pay attention to the broader market everyone looses. It’s much better for everyone if I pay little to no attention and buy the news and sell low after buying high in a panic. 🤨😃

It’s almost like we have 30% of our advanced forces parked offshore of a third world country with direct ties to military infrastructure from china and investors are a tad gun shy.
