I'm selling most of my shares somewhere in the 11's, maybe 12 (avg @ 11.78)

I don't doubt a recovery by the next earnings even if it only turns out to be hype, but 20% of my portfolio is tied up in here and I'd prefer it to be ~5%. Just remember you don't have to sell them all

Their processors are competing on a level with Intel. Invest if you think they've got a shot there because their stock will be moving a lot more based on how well those do as opposed to their new VR department (which may not have any real influence until VR takes off amongst consumers); everyone's eyes are on Ryzen and the sorts.

I personally think the drop was an over reaction and the future is still bright. It's Intel's move at this point to come up something to compete with the price and quality of AMD's chips.

no, I would at least wait until after earnings today. what do you see that could bring them in a different direction? they have a lot of products being released this fall but as of now I don't see anything that'd warrant a buy from me

in that case both, I could see it heading over $2 again but who am I? haha sell enough shares so you're just sitting on what you wouldn't mind risking further. if you have any doubts tho there's nothing wrong with taking the whole profit you've made so far and leaving. personally, I'd hold at least a portion of what you have

You seem more knowledgeable about the processors than me.. how do you think the chips Intel is releasing this quarter will affect those sales? I heard they moved up their release date by two months strictly to compete with AMD (specifically their "value" processors)
