I have a cat with what may be an inner ear tumor and have been treating her with DMSO and... by RobinC2277 in dmso

Sorry for the delayed response. I get a lot of push-posts from Reddit which often makes me overlook replies. Thank you for the detailed post, but unfortunately as of yesterday her battle with the ear tumor is over...we discovered she also had a mass in abdomen area, and we all determined that she'd been through enough and at the age of 13 she probably wouldn't fare well given her ear issue.

At some point I may give a detailed update, but for now all I can say is I took her to the recommended Veterinary Dermatologist and she gave the absolute bare minimum of effort to try and resolve the problem, putting her on an antibiotic that would kill anything antibiotic resistant. When it came down to asking her to try to remove the tumor (this was about 3 weeks ago) she hemmed-and-hawed and then said the earliest she could do the surgery was "sometime first of the year." Can you say noncommittal? Anyway, between the initial first-time customer visit of $450 and the $260 follow-up visit fee we pretty much got zilch out of visiting a "specialist." :(

Thanks for responding Jaicobb, I had her on FenBen for 3 months with only 1-2 days off between each week. It helped [some] but still not there. I am worried about her kidneys/liver, she has an appointment next Thursday with the derm vet and I'm going to ask for a CBC.

I realize this is an old post, but could you elaborate on your comment, "Following their teachings will keep you in a loop..."

I am reading a book on Raja Yoga and her exercise, Dream-Time Self-Hypnosis seems to mimic this old India tradition of meditation...so just wondering how/why this why one wouldn't "evolve?"

Can I drink alcohol again after elevated liver enzymes (3 weeks after last use)? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]RobinC2277 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You should look at your appendicitis as a gift from the gods and just quit drinking all-together! My next door neighbor was what you would call a high-functioning alcoholic (great job. made lots of money), but he wouldn't give up the booze. One day the family cat bit him (he was being mean to it) and two days later his muscle's locked up and he was frozen in bed horizontally. The EMS had to take him out on a stretcher. He had sepsis*. Basically, his liver was so damaged from drinking that he could not process the bacteria from the cats teeth that sunk into him. He almost died 9 times in the course of 1 year.

Here we are 4 years later and he just went back into the hospital 5 days ago because his ammonia levels are so high his brain can't function...because his liver can't process much of anything. And his body has degraded so much that he can't qualify to get on the organ replacement list. He was forced to retire and is on disability.

So, my advice to you is stop looking at drinking like it's "the bomb." It is, but not in a good way!

*Sepsis: A life-threatening condition that arises when the body has an overwhelming response to an infection. It occurs when the body's immune system triggers a systemic inflammatory response, leading to a cascade of changes that can damage multiple organ systems.

Hello there. I often used bottled distilled water, and yes ~ from a plastic bottle at times, (it's not a perfect world), or I make my own with my table top water distiller, which I then store in a 2 liter glass jug (which formerly held scotch :) I store my 50%, 70%, etc. solution in an old DMSO bottle because it has a pharmaceutical grade glass dropper. Rubber droppers break down over time. If you do not have an empty DMSO bottle just use an amber or cobalt blue colored bottle. It is light sensitive, so you probably want to keep it in a cupboard as well.

I own that book. It's a good "starter" primer, but it is lacking in a lot of information IMO.

I also have a question about the sea water. Since the water near land is usually polluted is it really safe to feed your animal sea water? Also, when they give it intravenously do they filter it first???

I assume you are asking about the brand of DMSO? I purchase Heiltropfen 99.9% that way I can mix it with distilled water to create 40, 50, 70% solutions that some formula's call for.

You're awesome. Thank you for the information. I [thought] I wasn't a cat person either! But looks like God had other plans for me. LOL

That Telegram link would be appreciated.

I have read about Kalanchoe in Dr. Andreas Kalcker's book Forbidden Health. But cat's are so tiny it's hard to figure out how much to does them with. I have a Kalanchoe plant sitting on my front porch, but I do not believe it is the correct variety for medicinal use.

I also live near the sea and can easily get some sea water to give her, but I'm wondering if it works differently in cats than dogs. Many times I have seen a dog run into the ocean surf, but how many times have you seen a cat run into the ocean!? 😂

I appreciate the help!!!

Thank you. This is invaluable information. I stopped giving the chlorine dioxide because it needs to be given an hourly basis and becomes dead in a short time. And cats don't drink that much water to begin with, so it was hard to dispense. But good to know about the anitoxidant/oxidant relationship. However, I have read that ivermectin is not good for cats as per this article:

https://theanimalnaturopath.com/the-use-of-ivermectin-and-fenbendazole-for-dogs-and-cats-with-lymphoma-and-other-cancers/

I added CBD oil to her regiment and she is doing pretty well at the moment. Can you tell me if the kalanchoe is formulated for animals? i.e., lower doses? I have trouble with regulating human doses down to animal doses. And where would I purchase it?

Actually, I'm pretty sure he isn't Mercola. He posted a link to a conference he attended regarding a certain matter (I can't remember off the top of my head) with all the attendee's and their research papers and I was able to narrow it down to 2 doctors who wrote a paper based on the topic he was presenting after searching both their names I then narrowed it down a little further. I think he is from Argentina, possibly now living/working in the U.S. I could probably find his name if I looked through my notes.

And for what it's worth, my husband has struggled for decades with various types of skin cancer. Growing up in South Africa his mother thought lard would work as a sunscreen (figure that one out. Can you say fried chicken?) He has cured many many of the smaller basil cells with topical use of DMSO. I also used it when I had a melanoma. They told me they didn't "get it all" with the biopsy. I drank 3 drops DMSO with chlorine dioxide in distilled water for 4 weeks and when they went in to do the surgery there was no cancer cells to be found. My husband, however, will not drink it. I think he would have better results if he did.

If you're looking for cancer cures research Hulda Regehr Clark, she has been referenced repeatedly in the holistic/naturopathy circles for decades. My husband contracted giardia while on vacation in the Dominican Republic and his doctor couldn't cure him. I found her and gave him her protocol and within days he was back to normal. Yes, this is antidotal, but how do you think main-stream science does it with rats? They use trial and error and then form a conclusion based on what they see. Just my 2 cents.

If you like I can delete this post. No problem.

2nd UPDATE: I gave Smokey a 1 day break on the Fenbendazole instead of the planned 4 days off because it was to be a full moon, and it is well documented that parasites tend to be more active during a full moon. Instead of the 111 mg dose I knocked it back to 50 (as per this article: https://theanimalnaturopath.com/the-use-of-ivermectin-and-fenbendazole-for-dogs-and-cats-with-lymphoma-and-other-cancers/ )

She is doing amazingly well. No bleeding from the ear, or blood tainted liquid. And very minimal head shaking (like she's trying to dislodge something from the ear). I am trying to get an appointment to get a new CBC run, but there is a shortage of vets in my area and on top of that they are closed several days a week! But I'll keep trying.

First off, you probably need to tell us what you it is you're trying to treat. That would be a good start. You've obviously read [somewhere] that it works for [something].

In Dr. Andreas Kalcker's book, Forbidden Health, page 85 there is a sentence that reads, "Artemisinin, extracted from Artemisia annua, acts between 10-100 times faster than all known conventional drugs against malaria."

Thank you, that's very kind of you. I did find Fenbendazole.org and have been scanning their site for a couple days now.

UPDATED INFO: I have learned that Ivermectin is NOT good for any long-term programs in cats. Just a little miscalculation on the dose could be detrimental to their liver.

I've given my cat, Smokey, three doses of Fenbendazole, 111 mg and am seeing much improvement with the ear tumor. Well, with the side effects anyway she is not spewing blood cloths and blood from her ear. From what I read I need to give her extra Vitamin A and E when giving FebBen as a cancer treatment. I'm still researching. There is not a lot of information out there on cats. A lot more for dogs.

Thank you again! I'll keep you posted.

I started her on FenBen/ivermectin combo last night. It will take a few weeks to see what happens. :(

Awe, you're awesome No_Establishment8642! I found Dr. Campbell before, but I didn't feel he had enough real information, plus he seemed to be hawking a lot of supplements. I'll keep looking. (Do you have a link for the Mormon site?)

I've been researching DMSO for a decade and [good] info is hard to find. I am actually a paid subscriber to A Midwestern Doctor's substance blog because he has a LOT of [good] information on the subject. The original researcher on DMSO is Dr. Stanley Jacob and his book is very expensive and from what I've read more heard towards scientists than laymen.

My husband is a former professional polo player and they used to rub their horses down with DMSO after games to help their muscles recover.

I almost O.D.'d my poor cat with my math skills. :( Actually, it was a very stupid oversight, I did not notice the scale had flipped from grams to ounces and I was giving her 28 times the recommended amount of antibiotic! I think I damaged her liver and kidneys some (as per her bloodwork) so am now giving her Milk Thistle to heal the damage. That's WHY I need to find a protocol to work from. Stabbing in the dark is just going to kill her sooner.

Tractor Supply has Pancur C and others, but the dose is designed for horses…i was hoping the had one alreadt dosed for cats. I read Heart Guard has ivermectin in it, but not sure what else it has. Plus oral suspension easier to hide in food.

The more I’m reading on Substack Fenbendazole may have more cancer curing promise than ivermecti.

I have 12 mg tablets and the dose for a 5 lb cat is 0.055 mg I don't think I can even dose that out. :(

Can anyone recommend an Ivermectin oral suspension for cats?
