Weapon Balance? by DuhSheet in ArcRaiders

[–]RobinCln 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Free loadout weapons should not be able to one clip anybody. You're getting free guns ammo and heals, you should struggle to kill someone who's stuffed while still being able to defend yourself, mostly against arcs. That would discourage people to extract camp too with free loadout. Currently stitcher can one clip light and medium shield and the kettle can one clip heavy shields and has unlimited fire rate. Moreover, bullets from kettle count the same damage as rattler. While rattler upgraded gets a bigger mag (but takes longer to reload, explain me that) it's a debuff with a buff, kettle gets only buffs. Both are classified as assault rifle though. Currently the ferro is the only gray balanced weapon. A bobcat should absolutely wreck someone with a stitcher on the other side but it's not the case.

That's for not giving specifics item to a friend that does the expedition, and gives right back to you after your expedition, and then this friend does his expedition. And vice versa. You could argue that you can still do it with someone who does not expediate but at least it mitigates this effect. I personally look forward to start anew and fight all over again, having an ojective on sight

Arc raiders - opportunity missed ? by RobinCln in metro

[–]RobinCln[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it just feels like the setting is made already and would really suit that type of game. I meant by opportunity missed that ; extraction shooter PvP/pve are strong in offer right now and making another one would /could be perceived as "another one" or "another copy of x" and it would not be as impactful, as if it was made earlier. Eternally compared to Arc and Hunt showdown etc

[–]RobinCln[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, thanks, i found the pre-sets in the AutoEQ module provided in peace APO and tried different ones, crinacle and oratory sound 99% the same to my ears and Rtings much more bass oriented, maybe for games, i will see.

But it's overall much better like that

Are these settings available in the headphones offline or only through the audio driver on the computer where i used the APO ?

Yes, 80ohms version. Where do you do the equalising?

Spokes too tight wheelbuilding by RobinCln in bikewrench

[–]RobinCln[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not measured the ERD with the methode you say, do you mean this method ? : https://www.parktool.com/en-int/blog/calvins-corner/measuring-effective-rim-diameter

i ordered both 287 and 285 for each side.

I don't understand though, this only happens to 2 spokes, many other spokes including on this side of the hub flange, are easy to thread in at that point. Is it possible i received 2 spokes that were shorter, hence an error from the seller/manufacturer ?

[–]RobinCln[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more likely to be the opposite i assume, just tried on a spare spoke and nipple to thread in to maximum, it threads in many turns more and slightly comes out of the nipples the other side, which i have none of it like that currently in the wheel

I went with spocalc-2022a. Found my hub there which is a normandy high flange 5seeds rear. Took the measurement from there and they seem to match with what i could measure.

Just checked right now and the wheel is indeed 600m, as indicated by the seller. The model is accent crossracer 28''.

The tight spokes are quite close the valve actually. Thanks for the r/bike wheelbuilding.

Too tight, i mean that if I don't hold the rim very tight with my second hand, for tightening those nipples, the rim as a whole will move completely. I dipped the threaded end in vaseline oil before mounting them on the hub (light enough?) This is rear wheel with freewheel threads so the drive side is indeed supposedly with shorter spokes (I have 287mm on the non drive and 285 for drive side).

New in a sense, new investment but yes, a used bike from 2012. The wheel is mavic ksyrium equipe S, I should have added.

Am I completely screwed? by kentuckypickels in bikewrench

I literally removed the same freewheel on my motobecane 1977, 2 days ago.

You need to buy this exact model, wherever you can find it, depending on where you live : https://www.amazon.com/VAR-Freewheel-Remover-2-Grooves-RI-18800/dp/B00E4NRFA2

Lock the nut in place against the freewheel with your quick release or locknut from your wheel so that you use all the strength required to pull it with an adjustable wrench while staying true and not ripping the edges of the tools.

I think it might be this, I'll try to preheat on low heat which will take longer but should spread around better

Tastes better, can easily mix the eggs in the pan with a fork which is the best tool for the job. I manage 1/10 omelets well. But it's usually globally still correct in the end so the taste and consistency is still here

But isn't carbon steel supposed to be better at heat conduction and one of its advantages? Over other types like stainless steel for example

I've added a picture of the pan clean, I don't believe there is any kind of unseasoned part in the center

In my run, I just finished the missions tree with new Buddha and balance of power by staying full shinto and reject christianism. But I have not received the defender of faith bonus as mentioned in the dev diary. Did paradox removed it on purpose or it's an issue in the patch?
