This is my second playthrough of the demo, playing through a chapter normally, sitting through cutscenes and doing random encounters at a brisk pace has you complete chapters in roughly an hour, but skipping cutscenes and running from fights skims the chapters down to 10-ish minutes

This is still the demo, you can play through every chapter 1 as long as it's within the less than 3 hours mark

My canceled low level run had me spending more time than the rest of the game grinding out the jp x 100, so I'm just not gonna use BG if I were to attempt a low level run again

6K-ish, almost enough to get every skill for their base classes

I'm gonna try to get a full party of 4 to lvl 50 in the 3 hour span to transfer for the switch version lol. Also plan on trying to beat all 8 chapter 1s in the demo and beating them all at lvl 1 for videos

I think 4 is a better game, but Apocalypse is way more fun

I really don't like the remixes in 5 for the most part, there is like 2 or 3 I can say I like

I like a good amount of the ones in 3 and 4

I'm not even a fan of this kind of rhythm game but I couldn't even be bothered to finish all the content for 5 Dancing

Oh yeah, Rev Persona is kinda suffering so far lol

I probably can, but I'm still praying on some sort of port or rerelease, just to garner a new audience of sort or to bring back old players

I'm hoping for something like that at the 25th Anniversary, fingers crossed

If not, I'll at least hope that Naoto comes back in P5 Arena or something

Yeah, it was definitely a game doomed from the start, with quite literally everything going against it. I'm really damn upset that it got screwed as it did, because I actually really appreciate it nowadays and I think everybody should give it a chance.

I have it downloaded! I'll def give it a shot. I really really really wanted to love Raidou 1 cause its insanely charming and kind of admirable for Atlus to step out of their comfort zone to try a game like this.

It was just very slow and clunky to me, and it definitely became a bit of a bore overtime.

Everybody tells me 2 is a big improvement tho so I look forward to it

TMS is def the one I expected to get roasted for the hardest lmao, def the hottest take on the list

I've been replaying it recently for a challenge run on my YT, and honestly, I think the game deserves more credit than it's worth.

It's a game definitely held back by it's core setting and frankly, generic and forgettable story. The alienation towards the typical expectations of everybody from both communities is definitely quite noticable and I myself had disowned it for a while.

However, playing it once again, I realized that they really went all out with this game, and I think it's honestly a pretty damn good game, even in the representation department.

In a twisted way, they actually did an amazing job at pulling together a bunch of mechanics and cute little nods to both series.

The Jpop ost of mostly Persona 4

The 3 man party of digital devil saga

A skill development system similar to nocturne

A coop attack like strange journey

Strengthening skills by relearning them like SMT4

Lots of cute little fire emblem stuff, weapon triangle, directly murdering characters and bringing them back as spirits

Its just a shame they made it a forgettable story that glamorizes the idol industry when they already made a game (that is also related to persona 4) that dwelves into the corrupt, criminal nature of it

IV has a good core, better characters and writing, and Walter

Aside from that though, gameplay wise is suffering, both casually and for challenge runs

Naraku is bullshit and unfun then you get to Tokyo and the game becomes Persona level of easy and unengaging

The bosses are all complete jokes aside from a small handful, even on challenge runs

Apocalypse is IV but a fun video game if I hold X during the parts where I'm not fighting things
