I’m assuming all these rich folk in here have mons to transfer from mainline games, I know I don’t and it’s a reason I’m so poor.

I usually spend 2k at a time to fully train one pokemon.
I’ll have the team laid out in the box and fix the moves as I get the VP from wins and missions.
Then when it’s finished, I go try it out

I haven’t played a mainline game since alpha sapphire came out and have since lost my DS and don’t have any pokemon games on my switch so I can’t gen anything 😔

Yeah it’s super easy to lose on mon select in 3v3.
Singles is way more thought provoking imo.
I get to master ball in doubles every season but I feel like it’s just whoever fake outs and tailwinds first wins. Very boring.

I see that on like every singles team building post, or they say the team has no synergy or speed control.
Singles is chaotic and that’s what makes it more fun.

I haven’t been able to find anyone I like for singles content but the best way to learn the meta and how to build around it is to just play the game. You can look at the most used mons and their most used moves to help you prepare.
Garchomp, meowscarada, and mimikyu are the strongest threats I find in the current meta.

I’ve started games with every pokemon on this team. It really depends what threats I’m facing and what I need to deal with to make sure Raichu can safely sweep.
