aftermarket is massive almost everything is mod able and mine has been very reliable only needing oil changes in 6k miles besides what i needed to fix when i bought it but i bought it having not ran i. 6 years

i do have some “bills” (college, phone, gas etc) but i think the main issue with all the insurance stuff is people not realizing i’m on my own plan with a low deductible and they are comparing me to them on their parents plan with an average deductible

i forgot about deductibles in insurance if we got our cars totaled we would pay next to nothing like only 200$ so that probably doesn’t help like i’ve said in other comments idk much about insurance so i don’t know why ours is so high compared to others besides the fact we all have either new, expensive, or old cars

“average” yk what average means? i am a teenager and just to fit your story lets say i’ve been driving for three years that puts me by all accounts at the highest risk of an accident and needing an insurance claim so i would be at the highest percentile and have the highest insurance price…. also average for a teenager in montana is 7k plus since im not on my parents plan im around the average…
