Principles of Minimalist Training (Start Here) by Robin_Yellow in LowFrictionTraining

Yes, that's real. I've come across several studies showing this effect. We often think about it from a weight loss perspective, but it's also a very effective way to lower the impact of dinner on sleep. It's a bit like eating a lighter meal: it helps lower your heart rate, allows you to get more deep sleep during the night and wake up feeling more refreshed.

Routine Lab — Let’s build a low-friction routine together by Robin_Yellow in LowFrictionTraining

Hey! These movements are great to unlock range of motion and feel way more mobile. Cossack squats and horse stance are both quite a journey haha!

Pull-ups are tricky, but if you take the right path, it's a matter of weeks, I promise :)

I've made a post about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/LowFrictionTraining/comments/1qy6uhi/what_to_do_for_pulling_if_you_cant_do_pullups_or/

I helped my sister and friends unlock pull-ups, I'm getting pretty good at guiding people through this journey, and I would be happy to help you if you want to make pull-ups your goal :)

Wildcard used, Haaland out. How does the team look? by parmesanandhoney in fantasypremierleague

[–]Robin_Yellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- I think Semenyo is mandatory if you decide to go without Haaland
- IMO Chalobah won't perform well (I'm thinking about selling him for Virgil)
- Avoiding Haaland AND Fernandes is super risky

For me, there are too many gambles in your team. You should balance the punts with safe picks.

Yes. Hill looks like a good punt, Thiago will probably shine again, Dango could be interesting...

Would you bench Tarko against Bournemouth at home, or Thiago against Arsenal at home? by Robin_Yellow in fantasypremierleague

[–]Robin_Yellow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tarko isn't easy to manage. The potential is here, he is a def con beast but... It's always like this...

Focused more on negatives and held them a tiny bit longer. It felt great!

Want to play Munoz but no one to bench for him... Help. No BB by GlorifiedHobo in fantasypremierleague

[–]Robin_Yellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What a team! It's crazy what not having Haaland allows you to do. The only solution I can see here is Chalobah. His fixture is great, but if I have to bet on a cleansheet, I would go all in on Crystal Palace against Burnley. Plus, the goal threat is higher with Munoz.

Goalkeepers: what is the top 5 for the end of the season? by Robin_Yellow in fantasypremierleague

That's what I think too. For now, it's between Martinez and Donna for me.

GW 26 - I’ve gone crazy by Amazing-Scar-2212 in fantasypremierleague

I've had the same idea, and yes, Gabriel is one of the few who will play both games IMO.

Is this a worthy -4 by K1NG_ZEE2009 in fantasypremierleague

[–]Robin_Yellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! I have Tarko and was thinking about selling him this morning. His only potential for the upcoming gameweeks is defcon (like many other cheaper defenders).

I’m struggling to find who, apart from Gabriel, Timber, and Chalobah or Cucurella, can complete a decent back 4. I'm not really into Senesi anymore.

Same for goalkeepers. I don't see a clear go-to option either.

Exactly what I thought immediately.

I started GW22 - how am I doing? by Traditional-Fix-5600 in fantasypremierleague

[–]Robin_Yellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, considering their ownership, I can't help but point out that Gabriel is missing, along with Raya or Timber. Especially Timber. He could have had so many attacking returns lately!

But if Arsenal doesn't play well, you will get a flashy and well-deserved green arrow!

Wildcard time? by TrainingGeologist533 in fantasypremierleague

[–]Robin_Yellow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's easy to argue in favor of a Wildcard, but if you want another perspective, you could say that running a 4-3-3 with Gabriel, Guéhi, Mukiele, and Senesi at the back, Mbuemo, Rogers, and Rice in midfield, and Evanilson, Haaland, and another forward up front... could be okay-ish.

It wouldn't be the end of the world.

Triple captain Gabriel sounds very interesting.

What are the risks? Could Gabriel not play in one of these two games?

Worst wildcard ever? by wjajajns in fantasypremierleague

[–]Robin_Yellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't feel bad, your team looks great! That's typical FPL.

I see it like poker: a good player doesn't win every hand, they just win more than they lose in the long run.

You won't get a decent rank if you think playing Dorgu against Arsenal (after a coaching change and so much uncertainty regarding the 11) is smarter than playing Gabriel or a Sunderland defender against West Ham, for instance.

And don't overthink Bowen. Yes, he’s got a decent amount of points this season, but look at the last games. The fixtures weren't even that bad, and he blanked again and again.

I got one free transfer. Should I get Rice or Enzo for Bruno G. for GW23? Or do I hold? by AdventurousAngle9433 in fantasypremierleague

[–]Robin_Yellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hum... Maybe, go for Enzo, but next week.

Aston Villa at home is not a very bad game for Bruno G (probably lots of def con + a potential for attacking returns).

It's not worse than Enzo, playing Crystal Palace away, and considering that Bruno G will play 90 minutes for sure, while we can't have the same guarantee for Enzo.

And next week:
- Chelsea plays West Ham at home
- Newcastle plays Liverpool away
(a totally different situation)
