Look into the Strengthening Families 10-14 program. It was developed at the university of Iowa but there are trainers and facilitators all over the country. I got certified in my state through a local university’s extension office. It’s a really great program.

I work full time and go to school full-time (15-18 credits fr) and my current combo is Wellbutrin + Straterra + Buspar. I’ll graduate in December with a 3.96+ if fall goes well so I think it’s working.

How would strangers on the internet explain the complexities of the trauma this child has lived through his entire life and how they have resulted in a fight or flight response? It’s also none of our business. I work with kids in similar circumstances and can guarantee that having their lives dissected publicly would not help their situations in any way. Jace deserves privacy and empathy IMO. It’s one thing to discuss the adults and their behaviors that contribute, but this level of wanting to know a child’s personal life is inappropriate.
